Date someone special from United States. I'm a hard working French native who is looking to meet someone who has figured out who they are but are open to new experiences. I often find that people are focused on different goals for themselves at different times in their lives, I'd love to meet people who are at a similar place in their lives and have developed a strong sense of who they are, what they want for themselves and want to share that with their friends, family and someone fun.
I asked a close friend to describe me as I think it's very difficult to get an objective sense of yourself, and she actually used the term wonderful, funny, smart, and witty!
I work hard, I love my friends but have no problem jumping into new circles and situations.
I feel lucky and hope I will be in meeting someone to be in a relationship with.
Meet a man from United States. I really like original people... and people with their own style. Curious and confident are really good too... as are thoughtful and principled. Be passionate about something or somethings (if the latter is not a word, it should be). Be fun.
Date a soulmate from United States. Seeking a date who is unapologetically genuine, smart, timeless and real. Beer drinkers preferred.
Born and raised in Minnesota, I recently moved to Venice for good after living in more then a dozen towns and spending time in all 50 states. I love it here. I tend to be exceedingly social with great friends and a good career.
I think this site is weird and we are all weird to be on it, but that's so "us" though isn't it?
Will save the rest for when we meet, look forward to it.
Meet single man from United States. First, sorry no pic... can explain later.... blah blah blah work. For the record my looks are perfectly fine.
I watch John Stewart and Colbert and I listen to Stern. I like Foo Fighters, Floyd and The Coffee House on SiriusXM...
I live on the beach and enjoy walking or riding my bike to local pubs and restaurants. I'm looking for a gal that's interesting, smart and positive.
Date someone special from Venice, United States. ...morning coffee on the Venice pier or a beach cruise along the path to SM pier. Work at home, set the pace, try not to get too caught up. If the sun is shining and the wind is low, go for a run in the sand before lunch. When the sun's on the way down, it's back to the beach or over to the boat for the crimson event.
I like sunset, definitely the best time of day but even better when there's someone to share...
I spend a lot of time designing various things. It's always nice to find a woman interested in design of any kind...anything from garments or flora to paint on canvas to my personal favorites of complex digital composites or scalable code architecture...oh yeah, talk nerdy to me.
There's a whole lot of Los Angeles out there to explore as well. It's an incredible city we live in. There are waterfalls in Malibu, caves in Hollywood and Buffalo on Catalina. It's a good time picking hidden treasures out of the historic mix of so-cal.
Meet a man from Venice, United States. What typically stimulates my senses is someone similar enough to understand me but different enough to keep me thinking. Someone who brings thirst for knowledge, wisdom, and passion to sustain real world and philosophical topics. Someone not afraid to speak their mind and debate with me. Nothing wrong with disagreeing. New languages and cultures are a very big interest of mine. Someone who reads, travels, loves film, loves music, open to anything new without second guessing...
I try to surround myself with intellectual, passionate, sensitive spirits to share experiences, thoughts and feelings… artistic, creative minds who can offer different perspectives so I may learn something fresh and new. Passionate humans who want to impact the world with change. Deep characters, people with light emitting from their skull, old souls, young souls, naked grocery shoppers, honest people, positive responsible accountable people, people who always do what they say they'll do. It's all in how one carries themselves shaped by their life experiences, not the number of years they've been breathing on this planet.
Date a soulmate from Venice, United States. Originally from just outside NYC, I lived abroad teaching English in Japan after finishing my undergraduate at Cornell University. After Japan, did some extensive traveling in South East Asia finally returning to NYC to work in television. Decided to throw out my TV and headed for architecture school to pursue my masters. After 5 years of Boston winters I decided it was time to abandon the snow shovel and move to a warmer climate.
Look to meet someone who like to explore both the built and unbuild world around us. Must have an adventurous spirt, like the spontaneous over the planned and believe that in the end it will all be fun or one memorable experience.
I have been described as sarcastic, clever, sly, witty, sharp and shy. I really do not know how shy got in there, must have been an off day. Will give anyone a run for their money in chinese checkers and political debates. Believe that is it better to regret what you did then what you did not do and really think a good cup of coffee can make any bad day better.
Meet single man from Venice, United States. I have my own company and with the demands of work I find it difficult to meet new people. A friend suggested this, it feels a little unnatural to me but at the same time it makes perfect sense
About me:
I try to live a healthy balanced positive life, and do right by people. keep learning and stay interested. I have some old fashioned tendencies, I believe in work and that we all need a purpose but I understand work and purpose can come in a myriad of forms. I love my friends and my family. I love the ocean and all the sea creatures. I love music, food, books, and "good" movies.
I enjoy company and being social but also I need time alone.
I have a fondness for beautiful things that are made well, and likewise adobe strip malls, reality television, and billboards advertising lawyers can sometimes bum me out... It would be nice if the world could always be imbued with mystery, beauty, and humor, like a Jim Jarmusch movie.
I was born and at various times have lived outside of the US. I consider myself American but it would be hard for me to be with someone who shows no interest in the rest of the world. I might also struggle with someone who enjoys sport bars. After the initial spark of physical attraction intelligence will keep me interested, but I believe intelligence can express itself in many ways... emotional, physical, aesthetic etc.
If I imagine the future I hope to be working in the garden and taking long walks with my old wife and my old dog and on weekends my children will come over and we'll make a big bowl of pasta. But no matter if that day will pass I'm just excited and open to what life may offer.
Date someone special from California, United States. I'm not like anyone you've ever met before. Unless you've already met me... stalker. I am extremely driven and motivated... i surround myself with optimistic people who are going somewhere in life, and I don't mean the golden arches. Imagine a giant rocket shooting for the stars... that's me behind the controls... And a little monkey in a space suit pulling my hair. Are you in the co-pilot seat with your hand on my knee? I keep very busy and love my life. I don't have the time or inclination to date everyone under the sun, and I have no problem meeting people. I'm extremely picky, and am just fine if I don't meet anyone on here... BUT, if you're someone really really really special, i'd love to have you along for the ride and make our already great lives that much better. About you: Fun, optimistic, adventurous, bright, cheerful, playful, motivated... you love people despite their idiocy, revel in culture, want to see the world and travel, love to kiss, you cuddle like a cat on the sofa, and shag like a tiger in bed. You are free from hang-ups and open to connecting with someone on a really deep level. You don't need games to make you feel validated. You are thin, athletic, your eyes are bright and convey the depth of your spirit. You are beautiful inside and out, and you think you can actually keep up with me.
Meet single man from Venice, United States. I'm passionate about living a meaningful and fulfilling life, being of service to my family, friends and community, continual education, music, food and traveling! try to keep a good balance between work and personal life.
I work in the finance and strategy group of a large Fortune 500 health care company. I'm pursuing my MBA at Wharton at their San Francisco campus, so I'm up in the Bay Area every other weekend. Occasionally, on the weekends I DJ in LA. It's a pretty interesting lifestyle and it allows me to use and develop both the logical and artistic side of my personality.
I'm a well-grounded individual with traditional values, however, I would not consider myself to be conservative or narrow-minded in my views. Balance in life is important to me so I always make time for family, friends, school, work, and play.
In terms of a partner, I'm looking for an educated, compassionate, free-spirited, and fun-loving individual that has similar interests in art, traveling, and outdoor activities.
Date a man from Venice, United States. Hey girls... So here I am.. Thought I would give internet dating a shot, many of my friends have found their wives and husbands thru this site so thought I would give it a try. (And the bar thing is not my style)
Im a GREAT guy looking for an AWESOME girl (Partner in crime), not looking for just a hookup.
Life is short, be adventurous and have a BLAST!!!
Meet someone special from Venice, United States. I'm old school in regards to opening doors for a lady. Flowers are a nice simple gift and the words thank you and you're welcome are always important. The simple picnic is often too forgotten. I believe in the golden rule and think table manners and posture say a lot about who you are and where you've been.
I love to commandeer my b.b.q. with some cocktails, wine or a few beers. Driving or a ride up the coast is always fun. I'm not a big breakfast guy but could easily be talked into a mimosa brunch.... out or at home with friends. A fun happy hour, dive bar or a sunny patio by the beach is a great place to blow off some steam.
I would love to cage dive with Great Whites. If you ever see me wearing anything Ed Hardy please shoot me on the spot. I'm very patriotic and love watching the Olympics.........it always gets me when they play the Dan Jansen visa card commercial for the winter Olympics.
I'm looking for a woman who has a good sense of humor, is fun, athletic, witty, doesn't take herself too seriously, likes sports, if you're a Charger fan we're off to a good start.... if you're not it might make for some fun debate. In short: if you're fun, funny, honest, gives $1 to the local homeless man/woman every now and then and think dog people are cooler then cat people let's meet up. :)
**and there's nothing wrong with cat people but come on....dogs rule!
