Meet people from United States. Describe myself...humm, well I guess I'm a little of this and a little of that. My niece calls me a "girlie girl". I love all the trappings of being a woman. Shoes, clothes, make-up, all that. But on the other hand I can swing a hammer, enjoy shooting, and can shift thru 6 gears in my truck all with heals on! I do get comments when I wear jeans, a tee shirt and cowboy boots to work on a casual day...seems not many wear cowboy boots and heels in the same week! I am a warm and sensitive person. I enjoy going out for dinner or a movie but I also enjoy evenings at home. My favorite time of year is fall, well as much fall as we have here in so-cal. I love having a fire and can go through a cord of wood in record time. I enjoy cooking and baking but it's not much fun doing it for only one. I loved the holidays and decorating my home. Having a Christmas party is something I miss very much. There may be a problem if you don't like hanging lights. The kind of guy that I am attracted to is best described as a guys guy, I guess. Someone who may look like the Marlboro man on the outside but is a good and kind man on the inside. Jeans and a T-shirt are great, but on occasion every girls crazy for a sharp dressed man. If I somehow came into an extra $100 I love using it to do something for you before myself. But I also am looking for someone who would do the same for me. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem spending a $100! I am looking for a man that does not mind showing his affection for me. I am a touchy-feely kind of person and want the same in a partner. I like holding hands and having the door opened for me. If you always want to give more than you get and you are with a person who feels the same it can be magic. I love country music, but my iPod also has Bon Jovi, Lady GaGa, Journey, Usher and ZZ Top. I like Westerns and the men in them but also enjoy Sci-Fi. Again, the little of this little of that in me....westerns and sci-fi, can't explain. When people ask me how I was married for so long the best that I can come up with is compromise. You are never always going to agree or want to do the same things. But, learning to meet in the middle is how you make it work. My husband was also my best friend. We loved being together and were most of the time. I can only hope to find that feeling again.
