I can be identified by my [mostly] black hair and brown eyes. Since my beginning in 1943, my odometer has spun around a few times, but don't worry, there are still plenty of good miles left in me for you. When I was just a little kid, my parents told me that I was Jewish and I never found a reason to change that. But I don't make a fuss about it ... you know, that regular, weekly fuss. Since that childhood lecture, I've grown up and gone to college and became what I always wanted to be: an Electronics Engineer.
To my credit, I managed to stay married for 17 years, but alas, as you know, things don't always work out and I was divorced in 1983. Since then I've dated many (briefly) and had one serious, 25-year, on-and-off relationship, but it ended in 2008, and now I'm here looking for someone, perhaps like you! I don't have much use for cigarettes, so if these are things of which you are fond, I fear that we may never meet. However, if you enjoy an occasional drink, I might just join you, though I don't drink alcohol very often. I have two daughters in their 30s, and they live near their mom in Washington state. If you have kids, I look forward to meeting them. I just hope you don't want any more kids, as all my spermatic highways have been roadblocked for over three decades. WHAT I LIKE TO DO:
I love to travel. I like 7-10 day sojourns to tropical climates (like cruises or trips to Hawaii) or just a weekend in Palm Springs. The former is for sight-seeing and the latter is just to kick back and relax. But watch out! When there's scenery to behold all the photography stuff goes along. Frustrating myself by trying to equal the pros' work is ALSO something I love to do. When I'm in the [National] Parks, I enjoy hiking (with 18 pounds of camera equipment on my back). I'm really into photography and I take it quite seriously. Ask me more about that if you're interested.
Closer to home, I really get hooked on prime time TV. A good drama, mystery, sci-fi and I'm there every week (or my DVRs are there). But I love going to the movies, and I see a lot of movies in theaters in a year though it's tapered off a little since I tinkered together a pretty impressive home theater system.
Off the job, I'm single, available and over 21 . way over 21! I enjoy laughing and having a good time (who doesn't!?), and if you'd like to spend some time with me, you will likely do the same. I can be a pretty funny guy, and I'll certainly make you laugh from time to time. But I'm not a clown! When it's time to be serious, I'm a good communicator, and I have no trouble expressing my feelings. In fact, I NEED to express my feelings. If I can't share them with you, I won't feel like we have a connection. You can depend on me to be open, honest and to do what I say I'll do. I show a confident exterior, but be careful . I have a marshmallow center.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:
I am looking for a permanent, monogamous relationship. Marriage? I've been married and I liked it, but now it's optional. If it just looks and feels like marriage (without all the paperwork), that would be alright, too. I guess what I'm after is the woman and the relationship ... the formalities are optional. The love is what matters. I miss feeling loved ... and loving back.
