Date single man from California, United States. I'm a pretty down to Earth, normal guy--with a quick and sometimes biting sense of humor. If you're interested in getting to know me, feel free to shoot me a note.
I like Family Guy, The Office, South Park and SportsCenter. I also like being outdoors in the city on a sunny day and also staying in and relaxing at home. Shocking, I know--I bet no guy ever writes that.
I work in Palo Alto but do my best to make it home to the city at a reasonable hour. I spend most weekends enjoying San Francisco. When I'm not in SF, I like traveling to see friends in San Diego (my hometown), North Carolina, Chicago and New York.
I'd also like to confirm that I took the photo of the shark. I'm not an insane risk taker but enjoy a little adventure and was proud of that one.
Ladies: I try to respond to every e-mail so don't be shy. One piece of advice: spelling and grammar matter. So if your profile reads as though my pet beagle wrote it, I won't be jumping out of my seat to meet you.
I love Scrabble. If you can keep up with me at Scrabble, it's a major turn on. As for physical traits, I'm a big fan of glasses on a girl. I like headbands too--totally weird, I know.
It's a close call as to whether I prefer smart girls who are hot or hot girls who are smart.
I'm looking for my best friend--someone I really love hanging out with but also like to youknowwhat with a lot.
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. Hi - i'm an athletic, fun loving, typical guy. I've heard of people finding success on this site so I'm just checking this site out for now. Not sure what to expect. Ill finish this later. Thank you..
Date someone special from California, United States. I send a majority of my time working in the OR. I want to find a Girl friend that I can share my stories at wok nd my experiences. I am looking for a Gil who cares for her families, don't get jealous all the time. When I am free, I usually watch baseball at ballpark, travel, and clean my house.
Meet a man from California, United States. I hope that time has been kind to you, and that you are well.
You wrote this letter some time ago and gave it to someone you trust in the hopes it would never be needed.
I can't predict what your life is like, but it's likely that some of the things you may be facing are things you went through with your own parents and others. It's because of that that you wrote yourself this letter.
Know that the person who has given it back to you cares about you a great deal, and is concerned for your well-being. Please keep an open mind and listen carefully to what he or she has to say. Accept that you may need to trust in their judgment over your own.
They may ask you to stop doing something that you feel you are still able to do. Remember that your father drove well beyond when it was safe for him to do so, and how you and your mother worried every time he was out.
They may ask you to accept help that you don't feel you need. Remember that taking care of your father contributed to your mother's eventual death. He felt he could do everything himself. Yet your mother spent many nervous moments and sleepless nights listening for him, just in case.
They may ask you to do something you don't want to do. It could be something as simple as eating. Remember that in the end, your mother starved herself to death. It could be something more substantial, like changing your living arrangements. Your father, bless him, accepted the need for change, though by then it was too late.
I can't know what you've gone through since writing this letter. I don't know what situation has caused someone to feel it's time for you to get this letter. I only know that you saw your parents both stubbornly refuse the advice of the people around them, at the cost of their health and their lives. I don't want that for you or the people who love you.
I hope that you'll remember that you wanted to learn from your experiences, and that to that end, you wrote this letter to help remind you of those times, and to accept the advice and assistance of the people who care.
As much for them, as for yourself.
From a time past...
Date single man from San Francisco, United States. I have lived out here in SF since 2005. I moved out here from Indiana (born and raised) for a new job. I am an electrical engineer working in sales and am currently working on my MBA at Golden Gate University. Since living out here I have turned into a foodie and love trying new restaurants. I am very easy to talk to and very easy going. I want somebody that likes to have a good time but also likes to cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie or the game. I am pretty laid back and I like that in a girl too. I am a very positive person and take everything one day at a time. I love to laugh so a sense of humor is a must. I am very adventurous and love doing active things around the city. I love dogs and have had pugs in the past. I am the kind of person that likes to see and try new things whether its checking out a new restaurant or exploring a new destination in the world. I am looking for someone that I can have a good conversation with and just hang out. You must be somewhat athletic and like to have fun, but more importantly you need to love a good laugh. I frequent many comedy shows around the City both headliners and amateurs. Also you must be able to hang out with the boys while watching the game, whether its football, baseball, etc.
Oh and you must love the Giants, as I am a season ticket holder!
Meet a soulmate from San Francisco, United States. Writing about yourself is actually a lot harder than people might think. I mean... what to put down about yourself that others would want to know about you?! Hmmm... well here's goes nothing:
One of the most embarrassing moments: when I was a kid, my uncle used to pick me up for regular outings, but then one weekend morning he was running lateI thought my parents were playing a prank on me
I'm a young professional working in finance. When I'm at work, I'm focused, but like to leave work at work. Outside of work I like to stay active by working out and playing sports. I haven't fully explored the city (moved up here from SoCal), so that's high on my list. It just seems like there's always somewhere new that someone's discovered in this town!
I like to laugh and having a sense of humor is must. I can't stand being around ppl who have no personality and who take themselves way too seriously. I also like to lay back and relax, eat and watch a movie too. I'm up for going out, but I'm not much of a club person. I like a nice lounge, or a cool bar instead.
Date someone special from San Francisco, United States. After living in Europe for the past 4 years, I'm returning to the US. I'll be living part time in San Francisco and part-time in Dallas as I launch a new company with my business partners. I've just come off working for a large multinational company and am really looking forward to starting something new from the ground up.
When I'm not working, I love to go out and see the city: whether its restaurants, activities, picnics or games. I'm passionate about cooking and traveleing. Having spent many years in Trinidad and Ireland, as well as Washington DC and Dallas, Texas, I'm really a world traveller and looking for someone to share that passion. I love cooking and trying new foods, so if you like eating and experimenting, we're off to a good start.
I'm really excited about fitness and nutrition as well. Like everyone, its a struggle to get to the gym after a holiday (or long travel) but once I'm there, I'm committed and addicted!
I just finished a post-graduate degree so am looking forward to getting rid of the book and enjoying life even more.
So I'm looking for someone passionate and excitable who is also adventurous and dares to go into the unknown...
Some must haves: health-conscious, travel-oriented and open to new things... let's chat about the rest...
Currently I live between San Francisco, California and Dallas (Las Colinas) Texas but I'm 100% ready for that special someone.
Meet a man from San Francisco, United States. I will slap you in the face...with my humor. And I hope you can backhand me right back. I'd like someone who can make me feel dumb every once in a while. Trash talking a PLUS!!!!! I am attracted to style, wit, and depth.
I want a woman that knows how to be treated well. A lot of women say they want to be treated right, but don't follow through. I want to kick it, laugh, do fun things, maybe even do something crazy or stupid together. I am looking for that real deal, but taking it slow and making friends along the way.
From moment one, I want to feel like this is the person I could potentially spend the rest of my life with, and as each day goes by, that feeling increases more and more. I don’t play games. If I can't see you in my future, I won’t waste your time. It’s really hard finding someone that has that complete spark you are looking for. But the strongest people hold out and risk eternal loneliness rather than maintain a false love based on dependency.
I am a storyteller and that’s what I do. I have some good stories too. That's what my grandma tells me, so you know it's true. I work and play…hard. I never give up. I constantly pursue my potential, and I am looking for a fighter like me. It is easy to get jaded though, so maintaining the ability to love in this crazy world is the most important thing.
I am always honest, and that's in my core. I suck at lying. My earlobes twitch, my eyes bug out, and I start foaming at the mouth when I lie. It's not a pretty sight, so that's why I don't do it.
Deep down, I just want to feel comfortable enough to express myself in the deepest and most vulnerable way possible without fear of judgment, and to have the trust of someone else to do the same.
Date single man from United States. Ex NYC transplant trying to make it big in the bay area :) Taking full advantage of everything there is to offer: Tahoe, Napa, Marin, Santa Cruz - you name it and I'm ready for the adventure. Local favorite activities include going to shows, sporting events, new restaurants/nightlife, even tourist attractions like Alcatraz. However, I also can enjoy a chill night in with a movie, take out & bottle of wine. Besides being passionate about my job & career, I spend my free time doing things like working out, running or volunteering at the SFSPCA. Always up for something new, and my goals for 2012 are to try surfing, sky diving and learn to play guitar.
I am Passionate, Caring, and Confident, and while I miss my family and friends back east I am excited to start a new life in California!
Meet a soulmate from United States. Looking to make friends and explore all that life has to give. There is so much to do, to see, to experience, and it so much better to do it with someone you can connect with...
Looking for someone who is adventurous and looking to have a good time and make memorable experiences
Can be something small like a walk in a new place or something crazy like a trip to New Zealand
Basically someone who is positive and willing to see where it goes.
I like to think I am a positive person. I have been blessed with a great family and wonderful friends. I would say I am a Renaissance man when it comes to my careers. Flight Attendant, Coast Guard Reservist, Hotel Industry, Real Estate, and in the process of becoming a fire fighter. My passion is definitely to help people. I do not feel like there is just one path for me. I have chosen many and they are all leading me to where I want to go.
I come from a very loving family. We are very close and that has made me who I am today. My parents have been married for over thirty years and I would love to have that one day. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I give everything. I hope I can find someone who will appreciate that someday.
My work keeps me pretty busy to where I do not have much time to find quality places to meet quality people. So I decided to give this a try. I am very friendly, open minded, and looking forward to meeting you. Thank you
Date someone special from United States. I'm a 32 year old fun loving San Francisco male. I work hard during the week and play hard during the weekend. I live my life under the motto "No Regrets" and since I don't know what comes after this life, I try to make the most of this one. My friends will tell you I'm great and I don't think they're liars. I was born in SF and lived here my whole life except during that whole college thing. I work in San Mateo at an internet company (shocking, I know) and I love being part of something exciting.
