Meet people from San Francisco, United States. I dislike having fun and want nothing out of life. I especially dislike laughing.
Hopefully you understood that I'm joking.
I find it difficult to talk about myself. I like asking questions more so. I would say I'm more of an introvert though I enjoy being around others. Just don't like being around hordes of people.
I like to try using new ingredients in my cooking. Kohlrabi? Check. Tomatillo? Check. Odd looking celery root? Check. Sea snails? Chickity check.
I like being outdoors and traveling. My favorites include Angkor Wat, Salar de Uyuni, and Patagonia. I'm the type to not have quite an itinerary but preferring to hit up some major attractions and wandering around to see where that will lead me. Favorite places to do that are NYC, Tokyo and Paris.
I believe money is better spent on experiences rather than things. I like checking out live music about once a week, exploring new places or buying books rather than spending money on a shiny new laptop.
I'm looking for someone I can have an engaging, intelligent and fun conversation with. Someone who is kind, responsible, loyal and seeking to always improve.
Date men and women from San Francisco, United States. I am a down to earth girl that loves to have a laugh. My family friends are very important to me and I love to spend time with them.I enjoy my life, but would like to find someone to share it with.I want to find someone who knows why he or she is on here so we can be together and make each other happy forever
Meet a soulmate from San Francisco, United States. I moved to the bay area 3 years ago, and absolutely love it. I have a great group of friends and am looking to meet a good guy.
I would consider myself pretty easy going with a very sarcastic humor (which I've found doesn't translate very easily on here). I like getting outside as much as possible, whether it running, biking, hiking, or just hanging out with friends while having a bbq or watching a baseball game. I love cooking...especially for friends since I have no clue how to cook for just one. My family is mostly all back in Chicago...they are amazing & a rather large close-knit group. I try to get back to see them fairly often and love showing them around when they come out to visit me. I have a wonderful 6 yr old labradoodle that Ioves to chase after tennis balls and go for a swim.
I'm looking for someone that I can have a good laugh with and doesn't take them self too seriously. Don't get me wrong, I work very hard at my career and enjoy what I do but also love taking advantage of my free time. I would like to meet someone that can have a good time either out with a group of friends for the night or just hanging out at home.
Date someone special from San Francisco, United States. I suppose I would describe myself as easy-going and loyal. My family and friends mean everything to me, and I try hard not to take people for granted. I have a really low tolerance for drama, even in my friendships, and am very sensitive to people's feelings. I wish I could say that I do amazing things every weekend (like so many of you do!), such as scale mountains and snowboard through blizzards, but that would be a lie! I'm definitely open to doing those things (see: easy-going), but when left to my own devices, I'm much more low-key (think BBQ with friends). And I'll be honest - a weekend doesn't feel complete unless I can spend one day sleeping in, sipping coffee, and catching up on DVR until roughly midday (might as well be real about it!).
I always do whatever I say I'm going to do, whether it's committing to weekend plans or long-term goals (which is not to say that I'm not a procrastinator of the worst kind - but I always get my stuff done.). I appreciate a good sense of humor, and am known to get a little snarky myself. I'm not very high-maintenance, but I can definitely pull it together for a nice night out.
I just moved back to San Francisco, after having lived there for several years, and then spending the last year commuting to work from my hometown in the east bay. The commute was not fun, but maybe character-building, and has definitely given me an appreciation for having things fall together & being in a comfortable place in life.
I think my 'perfect match' would be someone who is outgoing & confident (without being arrogant), and someone who is even-tempered (everyone's entitled to a bad mood here & there, but I can't handle the Jekyll & Hyde thing as a way of being). Someone who values their family & is good to others in general. I would love someone who opens doors, and can see past the cliche to know that it's small gestures like that that make people feel cared for. I'm a realist, and know that people aren't perfect, so neither are relationships. But I'm also a romantic, I guess, because I think when there's that connection between two people, that's sometimes all you need.
Meet a woman from California, United States. *with much contemplation I decide to update my profile more accurately as to what I WANT currently
I say surprise because there are many layers to who I am. I am definitely more than meets the eye- so be prepared to be challenged, amused, and charmed. I am compassionate, witty, silly, light-heart, and sensitive. I have a free, strong and secure spirit. I am looking for an easy flowing(no drama), secure and electric relationship that could have the potential...
I laugh at myself, am sarcastic, very affectionate and adventurous. Like to converse on family/friends, dreams, travel, jobs, politics, childhood, mistakes we wish we hadn't made or maybe wish we might...
I enjoy making people feel special, cared for, secure- in various ways.
I can be found baking, volunteering, reading and walking through Golden Gate Park. A great passion of mine is travel. I am a bit risky some would say, but life is but a breath. So make it count- a life motto of mine. The Middle East and India intrigue me most. I walked through a leper hospital, strolled the streets of Kolkata...and in a month I will taking a peak in to the Red Light district of Mumbai.I value being a woman of freedom.
Giving myself to a relationship does not happen haphazardly. Even a first meeting could be difficult. So don't be offended. Do you fit the script: Mature, witty, sarcastic, intelligent, sensitive, passionate, daring and attractive? Must be a take charge guy show some initiative. I can be the aggressor and would like an opportunity for a guy to see what he likes and do something about it.
So send a message not a wink- this is not taking initiative but putting the ball in my court.
Date people from California, United States. I consider myself to be a pretty open book - with adventure, creativity, and humor on every page. If you asked my close friends they would say that I'm one of the most honest people they have ever met, am a lot more vulnerable than I appear, and will always show up to theme parties in the best dressed costumes....hands down. I am a Midwest girl at heart, with strong values for loyalty, family, and doing what is right. However, I thrive in cities with all the diversity, energy, art, and culture that pumps through its veins. I have been known to grab the mike at karaoke bars and have no problem being in the spotlight, when the time is right. I also know when to take a bow and let others enjoy the limelight. I consider myself to be an outgoing individual who can be tossed in almost any situation and stay afloat. I love to laugh and try my best to keep people smiling. Some interesting tidbits about me:
1) I have moved to Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco all within 2 week spans and not knowing a soul
2) I was a fine art major in college and still paint and collage as much as I can. It is my true form of relaxation, expression, and therapy.
3) I have been writing my memoir since the age of 22 and have completed 12 chapters.....will you create my fairytale ending? : )
4) I have backpacked to 24 countries in Europe and have been to almost every state in the U.S. My next stop is Asia.....any takers?
5) I'm extremely ticklish
6) My last meal would be potato skins and fajitas....you can take the girl outta the country, but...
7) I am a master ping pong champion lol.
I am outgoing, free spirited and creative
Meet men and women from California, United States. I'm a NY native, but after three years, in SF I'm slowly starting to consider it my home. I just finished a great training program at work, returned from an amazing Asian adventure, and am now looking forward to what 2012 has in store. I love my family and friends and enjoy spending time with them doing anything from sharing a meal, watching a movie, going out, or just grabbing coffee. Three things that I think they would say about me is that I"m fun, down to earth, and loyal. I am definitely not into drama and think that life is simple so just relax and enjoy it. Also, my faith is really important to me and am hoping to meet someone who feels the same.
As for the type of person I'm hoping to get to know, it would be someone funny, confident, and outgoing. Overall, I'm looking for a guy's guy who is easygoing and likes to both do things outside, but can also enjoy spending a night at home watching TV. I will typically try anything at least once so hoping you will too~
Date a soulmate from California, United States. Recently moved to San Francisco 6 months ago from Las Vegas. I ventured West about 8 years ago, (originally from the South) shortly after college. Looking for someone adventurous to have fun with in the city.
Someone who enjoys traveling, music, trying new foods, and spontaneity is key. Laughter is a must, however I'm a terrible joke teller, and awesomely bad at karaoke!
Meet someone special from California, United States. My Perfect Saturday....
~ Sleep, sleep, sleep in to make up for the busy, sleep-deprived work-filled week; being what I consider a morning person, I'm amazed at how late I can sleep in on the weekends these days!
~ Run to the bridge - love the fresh air off the Bay, soaking up some rays, and watching the gigantic cargo ships pass under the GG Bridge;
~ Cool down walk thru the neighborhood while looking at all the beautiful houses and trying to figure out how I can own one one day soon;
~ Swing through Peet's coffee (a must)
~ Clean-up and meet up with friends for some sort of fun - brunch, Stinson Beach, the golf course, AT&T Park, a bar or house for football (football season = my favorite time of the year), local college football game, Napa for some warmth and wine, wake boarding on the Delta, or over to the East Bay to hang in my parents backyard for a BBQ and a little lawn bocce or our home-made backyard golf game....
~ Saturday night will likely be dinner with friends or someone's going-away party (I swear, half my friends have moved in the past two years!) If it's summertime, the ideal Sat night would be a concert at the Greek in Berkeley.
I travel a lot, be it visiting friends around the US, work trips, or squeezing in international escapades; I rarely find myself around SF with a free day, no plans, all to myself to do whatever I'd like. My life is pretty consistent these days.... consistently busy with odds and ends, yet I find myself running around with the same circles, rarely meeting new & interesting guys.... hence Match. Would love to find a man that loves people, that can make me laugh (a lot!), that is inspired and dedicated (to whatever sort of passion that may be), and loves being active & outdoors.... (I think) that would be my match.
Date a woman from United States. I feel that I've become an expert at the following: sleeping, shower epiphanies, reading, creating run on sentences, repeatedly rearranging my apartment, watching crap tv, falling over, camping, cooking, getting gone to places that require passports, finding good shows (musically speaking) to catch, dancing, shenanigans, tomfoolery, hijinks, which inevitably leads to belly laughing, and most recently - raw food concoctions.
I enjoy what I do for work as it affords me the ability and means to explore the things I'm truly passionate about; travel, catching various shows, and spending lots of time outside (cycling, hiking, camping, etc).
At the end of the day, nothing beats human interaction - so if I wink or shoot you a note let's grab some coffee/tea and get to know each other a bit better, yes?
Meet people from United States. I am a nice, honest, adventurous girl who has just recently moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area after living overseas for a few years, then in New York for 3 more. I like golfing, playing softball, skiing/snowboarding, hiking and traveling. When I want to relax, you'll find me watching sports, reading, seeing live shows and concerts, or watching movies. I have a sarcastic sense of humor, and a laid-back attitude.
I like playing board games (especially ones that make me think), but if I'm playing a game, I'd much rather win money doing it.
I am looking for someone to spend time with and to help me get reacquainted with all the fun things the Bay Area has to offer. Specifically I am looking for someone who is social and would enjoy hanging out, exploring, traveling, playing/watching sports, but also does not mind the quiet night at home or watching movies.
