I am also a great listener. I am employed and this provides me with money to do things and I do like my job but it is sales so it can be pretty intense at time. I'm the proud father of one fifteen year-old boy who lives with me most of the time, and my ex-wife and I have been amicably divorced for over 6 years now. I'm way past the breakup and I am interested and excited to meet some good people here. Friendship is not at all out of the question; it is welcome, but I am searching for a significant other. My business isn't glamorous -- I work in the Internet Advertising Business and am also the founder of an internet start-up company -- but I've done alright for myself and I love the challenge of starting and running my own company. It's important to note that I'm not married to my work, and even when I was actually married, I always found time for my partner, getaways, family time, and lots of other activities including shopping (yes, straight guys can shop too!), movies (either at home or the theater - The Hangover was really funny, and I love Netflix) and the occasional excursion to Vegas or someplace else (nothing like a little time to recharge your batteries). Things are different now, but I look forward to taking some chances and seeing who's out there.

I smile when I think of you. You like and accept my son. You have a highly developed sense of sarcasm. I think it's cute when you snort as you laugh. You make fun of me when I can't leave the house without forgetting something. I think it's adorable the way you look at me when you think I'm not looking. You act younger than you are because I like women who can be mature but who haven't forgotten what it's like to be a girl. My Perception of an Ideal Relationship:
I may be a little rusty about courtship and dating, but I'm not jaded by divorce. It's even clearer to me that there's not just one person out there. And even if you get lucky and meet a Keeper, there's still a mountain of work ahead. It's knowing that the work is worth it, and that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts which gives me hope that I will find you. I'm not looking to jump into anything serious overnight, but I'm a firm believer in chemistry and fate and I'm not afraid of commitment or a serious relationship - I'm totally open to wherever life leads us. A perfect relationship is one in which the reality is not that far from your fantasy. As long as you have a realistic fantasy, I think you are bound to one day find your bliss.

Date someone special from California, United States. My friends would describe me as a sweet, caring, and sarcastically funny guy. That I'm a loyal and dependable friend. That I'm kind, thoughtful, and generous, blah, blah, blah, blah... Okay, if that typical drivel didn't make you sick it almost made me ill writing it!
I really do think that I'm one of the "good guys" out there, but I just haven't been in the right time or place to find the one right girl for me. But have no doubts I'm convinced she's out there.
I have several passions in my life. First, I've been a motorcycle guy since I was a small boy. I have a Harley (as you can see in one of my pictures) and I truly enjoy the time I spend racking up the miles. If you're not comfortable with the Harley, please know that I'm okay riding solo. But if you'd like to feel the wind in your face, I have an extra helmet just for you.
I'm also very passionate about a summer camp program that I've been part of for the past 12 years. It's a summer camp for children surviving cancer ages 4-18. I'm currently the director of the camp and have an amazing group of friends and co-counselors that put on an amazing camp for the most deserving kids I know of. I'm also working with several friends to start our own non-profit company to help raise funds to support the camps and to expand what services we can give to the kids and their families.
Although I'm 2,200 miles from my closest family members, I'm super close to my parents, sister, brothers, and my nieces and nephew. "Uncle Score" as of today: 4 nieces, 1 nephew, and one unknown on the way. I can tell you my nephew is hoping and praying for a boy cousin! I do my best to visit family as often as possible, and I'm thankful for technologies like video chat. It makes my heart melt when my brother texts me that my 2-year old niece wants to "computer talk" with her uncle.
Other passions include, home-brewing, playing the ukulele, golf, watching football, woodworking, live music, and grilling with my friends. There are many more things I could write about, but I'll leave those to the first date.
Who I'm looking for? Great question. I'm hoping to find a lovely lady that wants to be both friend and lover. Is in love with who I am, not who she wants me to be. Is comfortable with the belief that we must maintain our own lives, but wants to create what we should call "our life". Meet someone special from United States. What’s the best way to let someone know a bit about you by reading a few hundred words? That’s rhetorical. I don’t know, but let’s see if this works. It probably won't convey the depth of my character, what a wonderful person I am, or my sense of humor. :-) I imagine you struggle with the same challenge on your profile.
Things I think help define me:

• I’m an engineering executive and love my career. I have a good work/life balance and am fairly successful by most standards.
• I enjoy music, and joined a band last year playing keyboards and guitar on mostly 80’s songs. It’s a lot of fun, and I’m getting better. I also realize that I may have (want) to give it up one day for The Right Person. That’s okay. Just don’t tell the band now.
• Besides music, cars are a big hobby. It seems I always have a few in various stages of restoration. I find working on them therapeutic and rewarding, except when it’s really frustrating. But then, there is satisfaction from problem solving. I do all the work myself, except upholstery. Some things are better left to professionals. I’m a concours judge, and judge 4 or 5 shows a year.
• I can fix almost anything.
• My parents are European and I like to consider myself a gentleman. If you’re really uncomfortable with a guy that opens doors for you and pulls out your chair… well, it’s just a hard habit for me to break.
• I also consider myself very kind and generous, but that has led to me being taken advantage of. I’ve occasionally crossed the line between generous and sucker.
• I’m a bit of a kid inside. I like sci-fi and Pixar movies. (Don’t worry – I have no Star Wars toys of any kind and don’t play video games.)
• I have a serious side (mainly related to career, investing, and things one should be serious about), and a silly side that comes out after I’m comfortable with you. My sense of humor can be slightly sarcastic at times.
• I’m blessed with great parents and a wonderful brother. We are all very close and talk frequently. My parents still live in the house I grew up in and it’s a wonderful experience to stay in “my” room when I visit. Family is very important.
• I love being romantic and passionate.

• I enjoy plays, concerts, and movies. Especially concerts.

• I enjoy travel. My favorite places to visit are England, Italy, and France. I also like tropical vacations and try to get in some Scuba diving when I go. Maui, Tahiti, Cozumel, and the Caribbean (Grand Cayman) are as spectacular below the water as above it. I have relatives in England and Germany and plan to go back soon.
• I believe the best relationships have a foundation of friendship, trust, and communication. They are mutually supportive, nurturing, caring commitments. I am fiercely loyal, compassionate, and tolerant.

Meet a man from United States. Well, as i have been pondering this for several months now. I dont know where to start. I love the outdoors, being active. I am greatful for my family, friends and enjoy meeting others. Most people would describe me as ............ ? Dont Know. Oh well i guess you'll just have to find out. I like to find the humor in most anything and love to joke around, but it sometimes gets me in trouble and.... well they get over it and they still enjoy hanging around. My passion however is mountain biking. I MTB several days a week and just purchased a road bike that all my friends are nagging me to get on an ride!. In due time i tell em. What I am looking for, first of all is friendship while remaining open to the possibility of something more if it developes (life partner). Im not looking for drama and prefer to keep away from it. Im not into games or serial dating. I live alone (no pets, parents, roommates or kids) I don't need to be doing adrenaline junkie things every weekend. I don't work out (I'm one of those people who can eat anything and not gain a pound...so don't hate me because I'm thin). I've been the same height/weight since high school.
