Meet someone special from United States. So, here’s the kind of guy I am. Two summers ago I rode my bicycle across America.
We stayed in tents and roughed it. This last summer I rode it across Iowa (the RAGBRAI) and then across Wisconsin. This country is beautiful with a lot of wonderful people in it. To me it’s best explored this way. Because of an injury (and I have to admit age) I’m finding that there are other ways to explore. Among other things, I am looking for someone to explore with. I like intermediate hotels (of course I like the expensive ones but…why?) There is so much more to spend money on after a good nights sleep.

When alone, I usually am involved in a project such as building an addition, rebuilding an old car, gardening, photography, or just hanging with friends. I like to keep busy and enjoy my leisure time reading some trade periodical, watching a DVD, or enjoying the History or Discovery channels I like a good movie now and then, a good comedy, or maybe a drama... something that leaves you thinking. But TV is not my life, there is so much else to do.
I like to go out to dinner and a movie, a comedy club or a play downtown. I am open to just about anything. After all, it is not where we go or what we do that really matters...just as long as we are together and enjoy each others company.
I am from the old school when manners did mean something, so you will find me opening doors for you, holding your hand, and even sneaking a kiss in public. You are indeed a lady and you should be treated like one. That is not to say that I do not expect you to help out with the projects that may be at hand
I would much rather stay at home with a few friends that I have invited over for dinner then to go out all the time. I enjoy a weekly poker game, or maybe scrabble or monopoly. I am handy in the kitchen and am able to cook and, I do clean up after myself.
I am not out to 'sow my wild oats' as the saying goes and I am not looking for a 'conquest'. I do not sleep around and I place a high value on intimacy. It should be, in my opinion...well, it should mean something.
I think that a relationship should be 'honest', above all else.
My hobbies are flying private planes and helicopters in and out of general aviation airports and just enjoying the blue sky above. When not flying I will just 'hang out' at the local airport and rate the 'touch and goes' of the student pilots or go to a large commercial hub. I find flying to be real calming, something that I can just do to relax.
I also like football, (Broncos, Chargers, Patriots) Nascar, short walks, riding, and biking.
I love thunderstorms with great lightning, near blizzards, and tornadoes. I try to look for things to do that are somewhat daring and exciting.
Music. I like oldies, all country, and most of today's contemporary sounds. I do not care for jazz or rap.
Some of my other interests include walking on the boardwalk or going barefoot on the beach near the ocean, sunrises and sunsets, spending time with family, Philly cheese steaks, playing the wheels, and people watching.
I love animals including birds and have raised puppies, lovebirds, and conures. At present I am in between pets as I recently had to put down my long-haired dachshund, he was twelve. Sentimental, I guess I am... Hope you are to.

My two grown children are the brightest stars in my universe. I have made physical fitness a priority because I enjoy the sense of health and well-being it provides. I embrace the CrossFit exercise philosophy and supplement it with swimming and running. But don’t worry, I am not an over-the-top fitness freak. I keep things balanced. I’ve always maintained that a spicy, well-made Bloody Mary at just the right time always seems to make things go better.
I have a lot to offer the right woman.....one who is active, accomplished, independent, smart, compassionate and balanced. No drama or high maintenance please.
