Meet men and women from United States. So I have finally been convinced by my best friend and her husband to join in on the fun of online dating (isn't that what everybody says)? ;-). It worked for them. 8 years later, they are still in love... married with 2 kids. So I know it can happen, but this all still feels a bit awkward and foreign to me.
I am brand new to the dating world - both on line and off line. I haven't dated in almost four years. But now, it really feels like the right time. I can't help but feel really happy and excited about this. And, while I don't want to rush in to anything... I'm also not here for entertainment. I would describe my personality as warm, friendly, outgoing, sensitive, intuitive, honest, creative, generous and compassionate. I love to sing, dance and I appreciate almost all types of music. Although I generally avoid night clubs, I think dancing is a wonderful escape, release of tension & stress. It makes me very happy & feel alive.
I also love to cook. I am very creative & sometimes start with a recipe but generally can't follow it because I express myself through food, spice and flavor. I turn on music & enjoy a glass of wine...the rest is history!

I have two beautiful children, an 11 year old boy & a 9 year old girl. They are my pride and joy. We spend most weekends on the soccer field or baseball diamond. My son plays competitive soccer on a traveling team. I volunteer as a referee & have also coached their soccer teams. I played for 14 years competitively and would love to get back into the game.
In my free time, I paint w/ acrylics, go hiking with my kids & take them on little adventures, play with my nieces & nephews & hang out with my friends.

I got married too young and well, besides a few unfortunate events, people grow, change and mature at different rates.
