Date single boy from California, United States. Here’s to meeting new people and possibilities!
Many of us are on here because we are successful, determined to conquer the world and don't have the energy and/or time to go thru moot relationships. I am one of them. While I love what I do and I look forward to my career, life is much sweeter when you have someone by your side. I don't need someone to workout with me or share every interest that I have, in fact, I think it's much more interesting if we learn from each other. My partner makes me want to be a better person in all aspects of my life and I am proud to be with her. And while we share interest, we are able to talk about every thing (silly, stupid, serious) and agree to disagree sometimes. I have to admit, I have my moments of seriousness but the last few years have taught me that I just need to let go. I do what I love and I enjoy every moment of it with friends or by myself.
I always wondered WHAT IF?, and that's why I'm here. And if we jive and it's the right chemistry, with the right moments, at the right time... then lets shoot for the stars. So in terms of what I'm looking for is someone who encompasses all the criteria they search equally in there significant other. (confident, respectful, genuine, honest, caring, loyal, etc) Ultimately, it's about finding someone who wants to be with you as much as you want to be with them.

Old and gray but happy and together...From vacations to soccer games to night out on the town and to our lovely home and a new family
Meet a guy from California, United States. I consider myself an artist, or at least someone who appreciates art. This is despite having degrees in Computer Science and Business. It's strange how that worked out. I love live theatre and concerts. I see shows fairly often and try to make it to New York at least once a year. I sort of wish I was a better actor, although the life style is not for me.
How do I summarize myself? Tall, dark, and hansom? :) I wish. Well I have the tall part down. I'm 6' 4". Too tall if you ask me. The problem with tall people is that we all get the same dumb questions when we meet random people. No, I don't play basket ball and I don't have to duck when I walk through doors (most doors).
I have a sense of humor I suppose. I'm more of a Larry David than a Jerry Seinfeld in terms of comedy. I'm a huge Seinfeld fan though. I've watched the series completely through several times. I'm an 80's kid and the last of the generation. I tend to lean towards the old fashion when it comes to dating. Or, "vintage" as I like to say because it sounds better than old fashion. Did I mention I work in marketing?
I like Butterfingers candy bars. When it comes to Coke vs Pepsi, I like Coke. I work in a career position and enjoy what I do, but it doesn't define me. Not knowing how to do something won't stop me from trying. I get annoyed by people with a lack of confidence. People have always told me I act older than my age. I guess I'm still trying to catch up.
I've been restoring a craftsman house in Pasadena since I moved here. They call me a Pasadenian. Or as us locals call it, "The Dena". Actually I've never called it that and I've never heard anyone else say it either. I was told that by a co-worker but I don't quite believe her. Maybe I'll meet a fellow Pasadenian here! I'm reminded of the movie Blast From The Past. There is a quote in the movie that made me laugh, "Nothing against Valley girls but in my day anyhow, girls from Pasadena, I don't know, just always seemed a little bit nicer." Obviously this is why I moved here.
I'm very rarely at trendy bars or night clubs but I go out a lot. I figure if I have to wait in line to get in then they don't need my business. I like Barney's LTD and Old Town Pub in old town Pasadena. Barney's put my name on the wall because I'm there like once a week. I'm also a weekly regular at the Home Depot. This is because I'm always working on something. Currently I'm in need of a new garage. The Home Depot is great but I've noticed that you single ladies don't tend to hang out there. You also don't wonder into Barney's or Old Town Pub so that brings me here.
What am I'm looking for? Without being too poetic or overly explanatory, I'm looking for someone awesome to do stuff with. Of course if you want the long version of what I'm looking for, just send me an email.
Date people from California, United States. I am an awesome fellow who is looking for a partner crime and life. I am a sports fan in the sense that I don’t like to watch, but I’d rather play. I play on a recreational softball team and other sports off and on. I could always use a new tennis partner, or a golf caddy, ha just kidding.
I'm a fan of classic board games as well, backgammon and dominoes! I enjoy playing pool as well. I like to go out with friends and hit the pool hall now and then.
I am an avid movie fan, whether watching them at the theater or at home. I am a definite fan of the classics. I enjoy music as well, all types. I am, unfortunately, not musically talented, but I can play a radio and I do enjoy listening often.
I do have a sense of humor. I like to find humor in almost everything I do, but I can be serious when I need to. I'm often told that I am funny and I do get the occasional zinger out there.
I consider myself hard working, I have been working since graduating in 2008. I somewhat enjoy work, at times it is taxing but in the end the reward is quite satisfactory.
I am just getting started with my life and I am missing that special someone to share it with. Could it be you?
Meet a boy from California, United States. I'm sincere and loyal. I'm shy but I'm working on being more outgoing and outspoken. I do better with smaller groups and with one on one situations. I want to meet someone who is willing to let me know what they want and be frank about it. Playing games with my heart is something I want to avoid. I never had the opportunity to meet the right one or let anyone get to know me. Do you have what it takes?
Date men and women from California, United States. I'm a Los Angeles native who graduated from SC. I'm never tried any form of online dating before, and I realize there is still a stigma attached to it, but I figured it would be worth a look.
I believe that people should always follow what they want to do in life. This is something I'm starting to discover for myself, and I want to always encourage others to do the same.
I can come off as intense sometimes, but that is mostly because I enjoy a good debate.
I have a core group of friends who I've known for a very long time. I consider myself extremely lucky to have grown up with some very excellent people around me.
I love travel. I've been to most of the country and a major portion of Europe. I'm dying to go to Asia, Russia, and South America. Currently scheduled for Paris and Berlin in May and I'm extremely excited.
I love sports. I used to play football in HS and rugby in HS/College. I don't play anymore, but still try to stay active. I'm not in as good shape as I was in the rugby days, but I'm working on it. I love the NBA and English Premier League soccer. Its definitely not necessary that a girl like sports, as long as she doesn't hate if I get excited about a Laker game.
Meet single boy from Pasadena, United States. I know what I want in life, I have my career and my son. He is my world and I love him more than I have ever thought possible it was to love someone.
I live on my own, I'm independent, I'm carefree, and can't stand drama. I'm a nice guy, always up front and honest; I have nothing to hide.
Everything I have in my life I worked hard for and earned.
I'm extremely loyal to those few I let close to me. I'm full of integrity and will always help a person in need.
I've been abandoned and disowned; it only made me stronger, and it makes me who I am today.
I wouldn't change a thing.
I know what I am looking for, and won't settle for less.
If you don't have your life on track, and are too worried about partying instead of your future, then don't bother messaging me. I'm not saying I don't like to have a good time or party, but I have responsibilities, and those take priority over anything else.
I'm more attracted to a girl that wears jeans and a t-shirt, although I do like getting dressed up and going out when I get the chance.
I am a relationship type of person, I've never been a "serial dater", that isn't my thing. I want to find the right person, and when I do, I'll put all my effort into making it work, I don't give up.
I don't have drama with my sons mother, it was just not meant for us to be. If you can't handle the fact I have a little man, then please don't even bother messaging me.
I love being active, playing sports, and working on things with my hands. I'm a problem solver by nature, hence why I chose the career I did.
I get turned off by people that use incorrect grammar, I don't know, it's a weird quirk of mine.
I'm ready to find someone to share my life with again, I've been through a lot and have seen a lot in my life, more than most people will ever see or do. I want a positive person that has a great outlook on life.
Date a soulmate from Pasadena, United States. Hello there,
So I have to describe myself one way or another but I'm finding it difficult to do so without using cliches; sure, I consider myself to be interesting and funny but doesn't everybody feel that way about ME? No? Not really? Regardless, I would say that I am a well mannered gentlemen and an exceptional conversationalist. My ability to turn a phrase, along with my sense of humor, is what best describes my personality. I'm also patient and polite, and enjoy the company of anybody with something wise and intelligent to say. Also, independence is something I hold dear to my heart so I would also characterize myself as being very self-reliant. Friends and family, though not perfect, are also important to me. I tend to look for quality rather than quantity in the former category and have no choice when it comes to the latter.
That's all I can think of (Does anybody read these things?). Plus some material should be retained for later use; don't like dates turning into silent films. If you want to know, just ask. =]
Meet men and women from California, United States. i am easygoing, fun and i want to find nice girl and can understand , give me fun especially she can sing or playing Piano. i like to spend my time with my soulmate and have a wonderful life.
i like girl petite and have a great sense of Art and Music.
Date a guy from California, United States. I'm young at heart but have an old school soul. I was brought up through traditional principles of humility, love, faith, and helping others, and I strive to be a better person each and every day. I believe in helping others and nothing is more satisfying than knowing you inspired someone to do or be something great, because there are many people in my life who have inspired me to become the person I am today. I'm a student at heart and I believe the day we stop learning is the day we die (literally and metaphorically). To live is to learn!
I'm a Bay Area native turned SoCal resident! So I'm down-to-earth, chill, and laid back, but I'm also ambitious, a go-getter, and I thrive on situations where I am challenged and forced to learn and grow. I've learned a lot about myself in the past couple of years and I'm still learning more as I continue to follow my passions and my heart. I'm what you'd call a "Jack Of All Trades" and know a little bit about a lot of things. My interests span from music theory to the construction industry to finance to real estate to health and fitness to theatre arts to...you get the idea.
With that said, to list all the things I'm into and/or are interested in would be a long and exhaustive process (both me writing and you reading). So let's save each other some time :) I'm into a lot of things, but not necessarily all at the same time. Therefore, I'll focus on the ones that are most pertinent to me at the moment:
- Health, Fitness, and Nutrition!
- SURFING! (Intermediate)
- CROSSFIT! (Beginner)
Well, they're all pretty much linked together, but at the moment these activities are my primary focus and are pretty much what my free time outside of my career is composed of.
On another note, my other passion I focus and devote a good portion of my time to is music. I love to sing, I love to dance, and I love to perform, which works out pretty well since I'm in a cover band. Though I don't typically find the time to do so, I do eventually want to get into song writing and composition.
That is about 60% of my free time. The other 40% is spent doing the below mentioned "Interests," "For Fun," and "Favorite Things."
Who I'm Looking For:
I'm looking for someone who can make me laugh and I can be myself with (I know, everyone says this). So to me that means: someone who's comfortable with herself and isn't afraid to be herself around me, to share her true passions with me, teach me about her beliefs, show me the quirks that makes her unique, and is able to be honest with herself as well as with me. In other words, I'm not too particular about what you're into (though some common interests of course would be nice and go a long way), but I'm more interested in WHY you're into them. Because as they say:
"What we do does NOT define who we are. Who we ARE defines what we do." - Across The Universe
Meet a boy from California, United States. Hello, my name is Tom.
I’m from Buffalo NY. I moved to LA on short notice because of a job opportunity I couldn’t refuse, and I didn’t really have any time to consider the implications of moving across the country, away from my friends and family. My previous job required extensive travel, and no longer provided the mental stimulation that makes the work day go by at a reasonable pace, so I bounced. Anyway…I should probably try to make some new friends out here, but I’m not really into the overly image conscious, superficial types of people that I’ve come across in certain situations; at least not the ones who lack the skills to be overly image conscience and superficial with subtlety, and tact.
I had some pretty epic work trips with my old job…for example; snowboarding in Korea, eating Bake and Shark in Trinidad, ripping around on a scooter in heavy scooter traffic in Vietnam, getting horribly sick in Nigeria, running through the slums in Mumbai, inadvertently causing physical altercations between rival exotic dancers in Guatemala, evacuating Cairo during the Arab Spring last winter, and getting Tea Scammed’ in Beijing.
My two favorite activities are mountain biking and snowboarding. Additionally, I like skateboarding, hiking, trail running, farmer’s markets, and trampolines. I don’t like casinos, high humidity, the circus, and places with disadvantageous dining options.
I read a lot, and I get very excited about the things I learn on Wikipedia and I’m all about sharing the knowledge. I love David Foster Wallace, and Hunter S. Thompson. The Apollo Program, football, and Formula 1 are my favorite topics to read about.
If I met the right girl and she asked me to, I’d do yoga. My favorite song of all time is When I Paint My Masterpiece by The Band. I love the Bill and Ted movies and am beyond thrilled that there’s another one in the works. I don’t mind having a meal prepared for me, and I also really like cooking for people, but most of all, I like teamwork.
I have a great affinity for dimples, snowboarders, dog rescuers, epicureans, hikers, and girls with eclectic, well rounded itunes music libraries.
