Meet single man from California, United States. What I have learned from previous relationships is: that I'm a good catch. I am funny, quick witted, I don't drink or smoke and never have/never will. I'm edumacated. I absolutely love movies. I am a local independent filmmaker and I work for video transfer business that I own with my brother located near the Ventura Harbor. I'm very mature yet I lived a real sheltered life as a child due to sickness and Asthma so, there is a lot of things I haven't experienced or done before so, bare with me because, I'm a quick learner. I sometimes come across something that appears alien to me or I often take the long way cause I know no other way. But I'm always willing to learn. lol. It's most noticeable in my driving skills. I learned about the world and human psychology through reading books and watching lots of good television. I am good at communicating with kids and animals. Didn't mean to group them up like that.lol
I currently take care of my mother at my house whom is currently going through Chemo therapy to fight her cancer.
I have a photographic memory (if you thought I wrote, pornographic memory, you just promoted yourself to the top of my list) and I can remember every detail of what is said or shown in a movie or in life. I am an artist and photographer. I'm a laid back individual. I like hiking and being out in nature. But my film career often keeps me in the house or office where I edit all night on my computer. I like to correct peoples grammar when they are still mid sentence. I do it with everyone. I take that back I'm not that great a catch. lol. I'm a good cook and I prefer to wash my own dishes. I'm good at remembering numbers but I often get lost when I need to drive somewhere new.lol
I love to over analyze things to death. I think its funny if we get stuck on a subject and we talk for hours on the tiniest minute details of human behavior. I love to hear a group of people debate on a subject or politics and I like to participate in the debates. So I'm looking for a lady that can talk about men/women and relationships and not assume that I'm trying make a comment about our own relationship. I was raised in the Midwest in Ohio in a log cabin that our family built log by log. I grew up hunting and fishing and working the farms like most kids where I came from. I came out here for the Navy in 1998 and bought myself a little house, but my Midwest values are still near and dear to my heart. You’ll hear me say yes ma’am no ma’am and yes sir no sir. Chivalry is not dead, and anyone who thinks so is probably selfish.
My parents met on a blind date and have been married for about 38 years now, talk about setting the right example. Love them dearly and talk to them daily even though I don’t get to see them as often as I’d like to. My sister met her match here on this website, so I’ve got hope.
As I stated before, I am in the Navy. For almost 15 years now, and just another 5 until I can retire. I’m not in the typical Navy like everyone thinks; I have never been on a ship or out to sea. Yes I deploy, but I fly everywhere I need to go. I am a builder for the Navy, so I do have my handyman skills.
Off time, well, you can catch me here at home with my dog relaxing, out on my boat fishing, ball games, cycling, and maybe just taking a little drive. There’s plenty more that I do, just giving you an idea.
I’ve been on and off of this site for long enough and never though it would be so hard to find someone to hug and hold, take out, spoil, and just generally want to be around. Am I asking for too much?
