I love to dance and my ideal partner would be a dancer as well or at least be willing to take lessons together. This June I went on a cruise with Karina Smirnoff (she won the prize last season on Dancing with the Stars). I won third place dancing argentine tango. Nothing fancy, just a "fun" competition. I will be going in September to the Star Ball competition in Honolulu. I love Hawaii and try to go as often as I can....
. I look forward to going to the Oasis Senior Center where I am on the board of directors. . I subscribe to the Newport Theatre Art Center and also go the the Performing Art Center to see musical plays as well as to hear symphonies. I am also a member of CERT and RACES ( that's a ham radio operator group that work for the police department) as well as a Red Cross volunteer. I am a people person but also enjoy my "me" time
My friends want me to tell you that I have "presence" and am a leader. I am honest, loyal, dependable, generous, kind, and compassionate, always looking to help. I have a nurturing personality. That's probably why my son is a physician today. They say that I can do anything and once I make up my mind to do something, I do it until I master it. I try to eat organically if possible, without being a "nut" about it. And yes, I love dark chocolate. Having been raised in Belgium I appreciate good chocolate! Always in moderation as I watch my weight. Good patisseries are always appreciated!!.. My pictures were taken 2011 2012. I enjoy good health. I appreciate any cuisine as long as it is not spicy. I prefer small quiet intimate restaurants to noisy ones but these seem to be in vogue right now. Cooking is fun only if your partner is helping you. It's a together thing.
.One of my friends has a motor home and travels with a group to various places. This seems like a great way to see the US. Perhaps one day I'lll learn to drive a small motorhome and go cruising. I love the country (not the mosquitoes) and the ocean. I see myself as reserved but not shy and my friends say I am low key and don't like to be in the spot light. I am very self sufficient love to pamper but at this stage of my life I would love to be pampered back.
