At times I feel like I'm putting myself on full-blast for all the potential women to see that I start getting conscious about what I write and how you're going to portray this impression about me. I think that actions speak louder than words. And for me to push a list of bullet points about my characters and personality won't do any justice either.
It's been said, "That you learn more about someone by listening than by talking." I've began to perfect that craft far beyond what I could imagine that people started to pay attention. I seek 1st to understand you ... then to be understood. If it means, I have to take off my New Balance 10.5 shoes to fit in your size 5 feel, it'll hurt but i'll make it work or if I have to eat cold fries and warm Coke from McD' s from our 3-4 hour conversations, "it'll hurt but I'll make it work"... (sarcasm just exaggerating but you get the point). Listening is an active role like talking.
My values and ideas are practiced with the utmost humbleness. So when you describe those great qualities about yourself "will you actons speak lourder than your words?"
So here's a unique perspective about me:
- The Economist,is my truth seekers by separating fact from fiction. It also turns me into a cynic (like all people studying economics) but never negative attitude on life.
- Finance is about breaking down all components to support the bigger picture: The future.
- Born and raised in the Bay Area, I'm a die hard Giants and Niners fan and no I'm not on the bandwagon because the won the World Series back in 2010. My roots go back to Will Clark, Kevin Mitchell, and Matt Williams.

- I have a 9 nieces and nephews whom I love very much but at times test my patience. "Practice parenting skills" for the future is an valuable asset especially when they start crying over XBOX.

To get a great jalapeno flavored potato Chip, you hve to do things a little differently. things like picking the jalapeno by hand when they're perfectly ripe. Then, we kettle cook the ships in small batches using organilcally grown hand picked potatos. It isn't the easiest way to do things, but if it were easy everyone and there grreat grantman would be doing it.

This may not seem to narrow it down much, but I'm really not convinced that it's all in the resume. It has taken me a while to learn what I really want out of a relationship, and life for that matter, yet I am confident that the right match is out there. As I've heard it said before, I'm not picky, just patient. I'm not perfect and I don't expect you to be either. Let's just skip my list of faults for now. I do research things a lot, but can be equally spontaneous so long as I've identified exactly which area ahead of time.
I guess some people like to identify men by their career, yeah? It does say something about me, but not a whole lot. Mine says that I can pass a background check, have patience, am okay sitting at work, and that I have more dexterity than a farm animal. I am actually lucky to work as an airline pilot, though I've also learned that the job has the street cred of being unfaithful. I'm proud to say that I have never cheated in a relationship, just to set that one straight right away. I'm more interested in a real connection, ie. best friend, and deceit is just not something one would ever do to a friend. Just sayin.
So if you are still reading, maybe it's more telling to identify me by my many non-work related travels abroad, a love of the African proverb "the river may be wide, but it can always be crossed," my longstanding friendships with amazing people(family goes without saying!), my listening skills, and ability to make you snort milk after we get to know each other. I've lived on both coasts, TX, CO, Puerto Rico and now when I wake up in the bay area, I smile. (I just moved, so I'm outside of the city with a short lease until I find what area fits me best) I like hearing people's stories and see the best in them. I'm into being active and will confess that women who share a passion for sports or outdoor activities are very attractive to me. Downright sexy would be if you ride your bike to go save the whales.
A few more random things about me:
-My first week on the job in Puerto Rico landed me on their version of candid camera.
-I renovated my last condo completely by myself and also flooded it with an estimated 30,000 gallons of water. You might wonder how that much water fits, but I can tell you that buildings are not water tight. They don't make 'em like they used to! It's a long story, but fortunately it ended up not actually being my fault. Still, my downstairs neighbors may very well be two people who I don't have a longstanding friendship with.
-I am a documentary lover and am even trying to make a small scale one with my sister who lives in Copenhagen.
-I recently spent two years attempting a start-up company in addition to my day job and… didn't succeed. At least in the sense of the company making it, but who knew you could learn so much in the process.
-I'm more of a nonconformist than a rule follower. I mean this outside of flying, so no need to run off of my flight in terror someday. I'd rather retire early somewhere cool, grow my own organic food, learn how to make wine, and be a kite-surfing legend in my own mind than have lots of money with no time or connection to loved ones.
