Date a woman from United States. I like my work as a lawyer but am missing a personal connection with someone. Looking for someone who likes to hang out, travel, is interested in social issues and likes an occasional adventure. Someone with a good sense of humor and who is irreverant is a must. I'm not interested in dressing up or fancy dinners. I prefer doing simple down-to-earth things. I like thinkers who have some interests they are passionate about. Smart is good. No Republicans only because I've never met one that I've had anything in common with. After reading many profiles, I'm struck by the number of men who seem to define themselves by their physical activities/exploits and list a whole ton of athletics they like to engage in in their leisure time. It just doesn't seem balanced, to me. Physical activity is fine, I like to walk, go to the gym and swim. But what's my life really like? Work, come home, feed the animals, watch tv, read and that's about it. I'm not complaining---I'm rather content with my life. I would like to have someone else in my life--to be mutually supportive--but that doesn't mean we have to be joined at the hip or participate in all of each other's hobbies. For what it's worth, my dream guy is Detective Goren on Law and Order. Smart, smart and smart....
