Meet men and women from Coronado, United States. My daughter is writing this....My Mother is a spunky, young, 71 year old lady. She enjoys reading, making puzzles, going to the movies and live theater. She loves to debate about anything. She will hold her own and is knowledgeable about politics and religion and current events, but not to the point of being a know it all. She can talk to anyone about anything...
Her Husband, my father, passed away almost two years ago and we all miss him, but it's time for my Mother to spend some great times with a special man. Her family supports her completely. She would like a fun-loving companion to travel with, have dinners with and if you play bridge, even better, but watch out they call her the shark!
She was raised Catholic, although these days she is non-practicing, yet follows the Golden Rule.
My Mother has lived her whole life in Wisconsin, until a few years ago when she started coming to Coronado for the winters.
She is a pretty red head with fair skin. No sun for this girl and her skin shows it, she looks younger than 70!
My Mom has owned several home-based business's, one in antiques and one in the dental supply field. She is a voracious reader, she reads two newspapers everyday, and always has a novel going. She keeps her mind sharp with daily Sodoko.
She loves to travel. She has been all over Ireland and Europe and to Asia a few times too. Her most recent trip was to London and Bath where we saw the sights, attended 5 plays, found great food and wine and even had a few drinks at the Absolute Ice Bar. She enjoys more of an educational type of trip rather than sitting at a pool or the beach
She is fun and funny, always has a smile on her face and meets people everywhere she goes.
She loves Mexican food, especially avocados and cheese and drinks Limon on the rocks with lemon, not lime.
Two children live in Coronado and one in Camarillo. She has eight grandchildren ( mine are the best) ranging from 17-23.
So what kind of man is she looking for? Someone smart, not necessarily book smart, but a man that knows what is going on in the world, one that is actively seeking knowledge and understanding of the world. A man that has some of his own interests, yet wants to be with her too. She has an independent streak.
