I'm in fairly good shape, I try to get an hour of exercise almost every day- gym, ect.- I weigh about 170 (I'd be very trim at about 160, but I'm content where I am and I feel good about myself). I don't have any significant health issues, though I'm getting pretty thin on top (I'm talking about the hair not the brain!-I think??) and father time says it's time to wear reading glasses.
I am an appraiser and enjoy the work, I'm on the road 2 days a week (on average), and work at home or at my partner's house in Santa Monica the rest of the time. For the most part, I keep a 40 hour work week. My partner and I have our own company and work for ourselves.
I love family activities, politics, current events, history, reading, golf, sports in general, and am always open to trying new things-though with 2 kids still to raise, I draw the line at skydiving and bungee jumping. I'm not afraid to show my emotions but am also mentally and emotionally strong and am a leader not a follower.
I get along ok with the Ex, but have no emotional attachment there.
I like to cook, am totally domesticated and know how to clean a house AND use power tools, I'll even go shopping at the mall !!!, what more could a girl ask for-right? And if you do ask, I'll probably do that too.

I'm a very positive person with a goofy dry sense of humor (but not in a hurtful way), I can laugh at most anything-especially myself-but only because I'm so darn funny!, I don't take life overly serious and am not interested in making the little day to day problems of life a big deal. Politically- I'm a fiscal conservative (that is-I'm all for helping the truely needy but those that are capable, should help themselves), but on social issues-I'm pretty liberal, closer to a Libertarian than a Democrat or Republican-I guess.

Being a devoted father and leader for my daughter has been the pride of my life. Sending her off to UC Davis is one of my great life accomplishments seen to fruition. With the focus of my life shifting into a new era, I am excited once again for the dating world.
I've been working for the same aerospace company for the past 26 years, and love it. My co-workers are some of the best people I have ever met. I am the coach of our co-ed company softball team but my love for outdoors doesn't stop there. It's been awhile since I've been camping, Yosemite was my last great adventure. Hoping to get to a couple new campgrounds this summer. To celebrate my daughter's enterance into university, we'll be going to Hawaii for snorkeling, scuba diving, underwater-shark-thumb-wrestling, along with many other amazing adventures!
As a life-long So-Cal resident I am a long time fan of our sports teams. The Lakers, Kings, Dodgers, Red Sox, Angels are the best teams to watch. I am an avid reader, and can devour a book quite quickly if it is a good hook. I am currently reading Dark Tower series by Stephen King. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Wilbur Smith, Dean Koontz, and Ray Bradbury just to name a few. There's a movie theatre just around the corner where I like to catch the latest flick with my friends or daughter. I enjoy being able to spend raining nights in with delivery and a good movie, just as much as going out to my favorite sushi house. Mmmm sake is warm!
Awhile back my daughter wanted a cat so we decided to rescue one from the shelter. She is an outdoorindoor kitty named Chloey.
