Traveling the globe has also shown me how truly blessed we are to be Americans. I have lived in New York, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Texas, Colorado, and now California; (Ca. for the past 13 years or so). I have learned that there are good people all over the world and that we all want basically the same things out of life; (to live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives). I try to always look for the good in every situation, no matter how difficult.
I have two great teenage kids that live sometimes with their mother and sometimes with me (a girl-16, and a boy –14) . I also have a step-daughter (now grown and married with 3 kids of her own) that I have raised from the time she was 13. My kids are a very large part of my life and I love spending time with them. My daughter and I share a love of music and try to go to live concerts together several times per year. My son and I spend time doing things outdoors; (when I can get him away from his video games).
I know how to laugh at myself and can find humor in even the most awkward or difficult situations. I love to workout and take care of myself as this is very important to me. I'm an honest, caring, responsible and a reliable person who was raised with old fashion morals and values; with a little devil thrown in. I'm somewhat of a practical joker and love to laugh I believe laughter is good for the soul. I enjoy just about all outside activities, and am willing to try any i haven't done. I am definitely a sports nut, baseball, basketball, football, golf. Golf is the only one that I actually try to play and I'm not very good, but I will keep trying. One of my favorite things to do is ride my harley, there is just something about the wind hitting you in the face and the sound of the motor that lets you really be free, just for a little while. I haven't had a chance to travel much but it is definitely something i would like to do, especially with right person. I enjoy good food whether its BBQ, mexican, italian, sushi, or good old american chow: that's why the exercising.
