I am pretty middle of the road politically. I follow current events and politics fairly closely and try keep up to speed on the issues of the day. I'm fairly organized with my finances and have a good credit score. I don't think I would say I am a neat freak but I do like being organized. I am responsible and you can count on me to do what I say and say what I do. I am certainly not the class clown but I think I have a good sense of humor and like to joke around. I like Tosh.0, TMZ, That 70's Show, and the Big Bang Theory but I'm more likely to be watching the Discovery or History channel. I like to think I am pretty easy to get along with. I don't mind doing my share of the chores, laundry, dishes, cooking, etc.
I like a glass of wine or two, but rarely more than that. I love going to Vegas but don't like to gamble much. I try to dress nice but don't spend a ton of money on clothes. I'm usually wearing shorts and flip-flops or jeans and a sweatshirt when not in work clothes, which is slacks and a golf shirt.
I don't mind getting winks! It just lets me know that you are interested. If you wink and I don't respond in a couple days, it probably means I'm not interested but it might be that I just haven't had the time to respond yet. They are a big part of my life, I spent many years coaching youth sports..soccer..softball..volleyball. However I'm thinking that career is over for awhile. Camarillo High gets to coach them now.
We enjoy heading down to the beach on long weekends and camping (motor home). It's a great way to spend quality time with the kids and usually a couple of friends.
Come summer we'll make many trips to Lake Havasu, we will meet up with family and friends, and our group is normally 20 to 40 fabulous people. We have some great water toys and get them out every chance we can.
Sometime's on a Sunday when the weather is perfect, I'll dust off the Harley and ride the coast, stopping at Neptune's Net for some clam chowder and a corona, or maybe Duke's to catch a game and lunch.
Staying healthy is a priority for me. I've run a couple of marathons, ridden many bike events, and visit the gym from time to time. I would like to someday soon, run a triathlon.

Ever since I was a wee little tot I have had an unquenchable thirst to understand and learn about the world around me. I spend the vast majority of my free time reading. I study mathematics, physics, biology, economics, finance, politics, groups of people, and people individually. This gives me a tendency towards being a cheerful when I am alone. Being alone is one of those things that is good in moderation.
Learning is a somewhat vain activity and I felt that it was important to do something with my life. I graduated college and have been working as a design engineer these last 25 years. I like to think that some of the stuff I have designed has gotten out in the world and made the world work a little bit better.
I have two daughters. My older daughter has gone away to college, and my younger daughter has her driver’s license and will be heading to college in a little over a year. When I had kids I had no idea what I was getting into, and quite frankly no inherent aptitude for being a parent. I just did my best, used my head, and accepted whatever worthwhile help was on offer. The portents are good for them living happy lives. My daughters’ teen years have been the best years of my life.
I never gave a moment's thought to how I was going to spend my life after my daughters grew up. I am healthy, in good shape, under no constraints, and the rest of my life is likely to be long. Recently, I have been giving a great deal of thought to the direction I want to go.
