Date men and women from Brentwood, United States. This is pretty hard! While I have no trouble interacting with people and am generally very out-going, it's difficult to portray on paper that which you really want people to know about you. But I'll try.....
I am very energetic, outgoing, and fun-loving. My friends would say that I am loyal, empathetic and resourceful. Oh, and I have a good sense of humor! I enjoy family/friends getting together, cooking, holidays, travel and am learning how to have downtime. I take good care of myself and expect others to do the same. My faith has taught me much about trying to be a good person, and I'm always trying. Haven't figured it all out yet, but that's the journey I guess. I admire people who are strong yet vulnerable, have a lot to give and do so. Generosity of spirit and self is a wonderful indicator of who someone is as a person. Did I mention sense of humor?
Authenticity is important to me, as is a strong pull toward family. I'm close to my son, who is 24, and wish I had 2 - 3 more back when. Oh well! Also, I think you can tell a lot by how people interact with others who work for/with them, and also how they treat animals. Hmmmmm.....
As far as relationships, chemistry has so much to do with it! I want someone to share life with, activities and bumps in the road, to be there for me emotionally and literally. Who doesn't? Sigh. Well, I'm definitely a person who sees the good in life, but doesn't ignore the bad. Just try to make it better! Been told I'm a bit of a Pollyanna type, which really isn't all that bad in today's world. Think there could be more of us......would at least be a more fun world.
Oh.....and not really into drama very much. The personal kind, I mean! I love holidays and entertaining in general....and golf. Just started it a couple of years ago and really enjoy it. I try to play once/twice a week, and while it could take a couple of life times to perfect this game, I'm actually getting better. I also play paddle tennis at least 1-2 times per week, walk with friends, and work out with a personal trainer....I have for about 20 years now.
Last, but not least, yes......I am 62. I'm told that I look and act younger (I have my Mother to thank for that), but you'll have to be the judge.
