Date a soulmate from California, United States. Hey! I've been in the Bay Area for about 3 years now and absolutely love it. The Peninsula is great for working and living, but I venture into the city on a regular basis. I love trying all the new restaurants, seeing a great show at the Orpheum, and any event that sounds like a blast!
When I'm not working I love to do a ton of different things. I'm very close with my family, so hanging out with them is always fun.My friends and I like to get together frequently to do a lot of different things from taking a yoga class together, going to brunch, or seeing a new show in the city.
I do like the outdoors, even though it can stay a little chilly around here. Having a family from Hawaii, I enjoy the beach a lot and get out there on any warm day I can. Hiking is always fun and there's some great areas around here. I've joined teams in the area to play different sports from volleyball to ultimate frisbee. Yoga and running are my two favorites for exercise during the week.
I will pretty much try anything once. I've been backpacking in the Grand Canyon, skydiving, and white water rafting. I love to travel and can't wait to go to more places around the globe. So far I've been to Italy, France, Hawaii, and different states in the U.S. I'd love to go all over Europe, see Australia and New Zealand, Costa Rica, and a ton of other places!
On a day to day basis, I'm a girly girl on the outside, love to get dressed up for a night on the town, but a laid back and adventurous lady on the inside. As a 1st Grade Teacher I couldn't be happier with my job, it was definitely what I was meant to do.
I'm looking for someone that does want to be in a relationship. I think it's great to have someone to explore where we live together, come home to, and have a ton of fun!
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. Good things come in small packages, or so they say; I promise, my personality is much bigger than my height! My sense of humor is super-sarcastic, so I can definitely dish it out... but don't worry, I can take it too ;). I am incredibly loyal to my friends and family, and connections with them are very important to me. Some of my closest friends live across the country (or across the ocean), and I work hard to stay in touch with and visit them.
I'm from Chicago originally, went to college out here (Stanford), spent 6 (long) years in Boston, and moved back to the bay area about two years ago. My background is in theater (stage management), but I'm currently a high school teacher. I recently joined a new gym, and I have to confess, I've become a bit of a gym rat, though I love being outdoors too. I work in SF, so I'm in the city every day, and frequently on weekends as well.
I'm a HUGE foodie-- you know the whole "eat to live" or "live to eat" debate? I fall on the far end of the "live to eat" spectrum. I've been known to travel half an hour (or more) out of the way just to try a new homemade ice cream or the best pastries in town. One of the best things about moving out here is the opportunity to try out tons of new restaurants. If I'm going to eat out, I want it to be somewhere good-- otherwise, I'd rather just cook for myself. I'm a solid cook, but an excellent baker-- if you're lucky, I'll let you try Rachel Cake sometime-- and yes, that's actually its name! :)
Date someone special from California, United States. I'm a caring person that values family and loved ones. I like to go out with friends, but also enjoy staying home and catching up on Tivo'd shows. I would love to meet someone who enjoys exploring new places, even if it's a new hiking trail to a new country. Life is to be lived.
Meet a soulmate from Belmont, United States. The short and simple version:
Female, Single, 34 years, work in biotech, grew up in the Bay Area
For all the other characteristics, I think there needs to be other topics of conversation to talk or IM about.
I'm looking for someone that shares similar interest and cares and for others. Not exactly pessimistic but I am not really certain about this but is at least trying it out.
Date people from Belmont, United States. I'm a genuine, down to earth and kindhearted woman with a positive attitude and a GREAT sense of humor. Seriously, it is. And, I'm seeking a man who would consider himself to have the same qualities. I imagine myself living my life with my best friend and lover.
I am a lucky woman to have such a wonderful family. They are like gold to me. I am also the very proud aunt of a hilarious (sense of humor must run in the family) 3-year-old nephew and 18-month-old niece. I love nothing more than spending time with them. I have a great sense of family, and I'd like to share that with the special someone in my life.
Staying fit and active is a priority of mine. I enjoy hiking, boating and traveling, driving along the coast is just beautiful to take in. I would love to share adventurous experiences with my partner, and then relax after the long day.
Life is meant to be lived in "forward" - and because I believe this rather strongly, I'd love to meet someone who agrees, and who is able to embrace the good (and less-than-good) memories of the past and pursue the excitement of the present - and future!
I look forward to meeting the man who can match my positive, outgoing personality and who can make me laugh harder than I've ever laughed before. I promise to return it all to you!
P.S. I know I need a full pic...working on it.
Meet a soulmate from Belmont, United States. You are quick witted, educated and established. I am happy, positive and know how to carry a life. However, I can be ideal at a time. I need you to drag me back to the reality. I am insightful, analytical and constantly seeking improvement. An INTJ type describs me well. I know I am rare in woman. :-) I am trying to balance myself by expanding my social circle, being more emotional..lol...etc what an INTJ can improve. I am a perfectionst but learnt that we are all human beings at some points failing standards. I am more forgiven than ever.
I enjoy to see my friends and family happy. I am a giver and loyal dedicator to the people I love though I am very selective. I have that pattern either 100 percent or 0. I enjoy spoiling the one I love. I am mature, level headed but crave a father like attention.
It took me 2 years to realize that I am a better person in a relationship. I am serious but not desperate in terms of looking for the partner of the rest of my life.
What defines my partner is his value, goal, family, friends and the eyes looking into me. Embracing Chinese culture is a huge huge plus for me. There are ups and downs in the life. I hope we walk thru that hand in hand. I would never worry about even if this is the end of the world.
Date a woman from California, United States. I like to take Cal Train to SF with no plans and no destination...just walk until we find somewhere interesting to be, or someone interesting to talk to. If I see a playground I'll hop on the swings or the slide, no hesitation. I'm a "fly by the seat of my pants" kind of woman.
I stand out in a crowd, marching to a cadence only I can hear. Tap, tap, tap, goes the heel of my boot, a creak in the soul, my body moving fluidly across the room with an undefined elegance and grace...touched with a hardness that one has yet to penetrate. Will you be that man? Don't assume that my tattoos and penchant for motorcycles & fire eating sets me in a certain category. I carry myself like a lady amongst the most sophisticated crowds, yet I can fit in at a local dive bar just as well. I'm a chameleon-don't underestimate me. I am intelligent, quick of wit, and confident, but not arrogant. Can you keep up with me? I'm looking for a partner who can not only keep up, but can also surge ahead from time to time and show me new things.
Do you fancy wine and food pairings in Napa? Ziplining? Playing with the waves on the beach, astride a trotting horse, or perhaps in bare feet, not caring if your pants get wet to the waist? How about fire dancing, or welding, or glassblowing? Care to join me? We will have an amazing time-I have fun wherever I go, whatever I'm doing.
My heart has been hardened a bit over the years, so I guard it. However, I'm still a very loving, positive person, and I'm always ready to open my life up to new friends, and new adventures. No drama, no BS, I tell it like it is and never pull any punches. Come play with me, and we'll see where we end up~
Meet someone special from Belmont, United States. I'm looking for a man who knows how to be a man. You know what you want and you're not afraid to go after it.
I am interested in meeting you if you are intelligent, funny, attractive, and interested in hiking, travel and are happy with who and where you are in your life. I'm intelligent, successful, adventurous, and enjoy keeping myself busy with a variety of activities. I'm looking for someone to share adventures with.
Date men and women from Belmont, United States. They say you don't exist, so I'm here to prove them wrong. You're a great balance between responsible, kind, emotionally available AND exciting, edgy and adventurous. I know you're out there. You're someone like me.
I consider myself to be kind-hearted, fun loving, open-minded, and easy going. Most would say I'm smart and sassy. I'm all about a healthy level of detachment from the madness, being grateful, and keeping the positivity flowing. I won't deal with downer, meanie, grumpy-pants people. I'm usually in good spirits, even when I have to wake up early. In spite of being really busy, I always find time for being with friends and family, exercise, communing with nature, creative projects and laughing at all kinds of things. I totally appreciate my quiet down time, but I'm rather extroverted and am almost always up for a social gathering. My friend calls me a "go go" girl because I rarely pass up an invitation to do something cool. My motto is: just show up! Amazing things can happen.
I am rather independent with lots of interests and am currently working as a contractor in high-tech marketing. I'm loving my new flexible life! I'm starting my own sustainable event planning business, and spending lots of time volunteering to support social and food justice causes (Yes on 37! Vote in November to label our food if it contains GMOs! Have you heard what they're doing?) I love being outside, going for adventures in the woods, being at the powerful oceanside, crazy challenging yoga, not-too-sweet almond milk chai lattes, backgammon, pool, throwing the frisbee, jam sessions/ukelele, grilling things, really delicious good quality food, live music... I've had the good fortune to travel all over the world for both business and pleasure, and I love it! And there is so much more to see.
Wouldn't it be amazing if you were educated, smart, fun, witty, spunky, confident (but not narcissistic), humble, honest, genuine, and courageous? Could you also be loving, kind, emotionally stable and a good communicator? And how about someone whose life experience has given them an incredible strength of character? That would be awesome.
Life is good, but I'm finally ready to be on line here to see what other coolness I can manifest in my life.
Meet people from Belmont, United States. Born and raised in the Bay Area, I love the area for all the culture, weather, and unique opportunities this great place has to offer. I take advantage of the beach, mountains and lakes that can be a day trip or an easy weekend get-away. I love to traveI and used much of my experiences to learn about cultures and language. I love to play on sports teams, individual sports, and coach youth. I love to socialize with any size crowd. I am more of an out and about person than a homebody, but still enjoy down time at home to rejuvenate for what is next on my plate.
I am close with my family, and maintain wonderful relationships with the many people I have met throughout my life.
I have two great kids that are with me 50% of the time.
I've love to meet someone with these common interests or introduce me to new ones!
Date someone special from United States. Fun, outgoing, kind and confident Canadian girl. People tell me I'm really funny. I certainly don't take life or myself too seriously. My guy friends describe me as a "cool chick". I work hard and play hard. I'm a great "wingman" and I'm very close to my family. I love my job and am proud of the work I do. I would describe myself as drama-free, down-to-earh and low maintenance.
I love to play sports and watch almost every sport (bowling is not a sport!). Played a ton of competitive volleyball indoors, on sand or on grass. Miss it terribly and would love to get out there to play. Wish I could still say I'm a ski bum (grew up 100 kms outside Whistler, BC), but 5 knee surgeries keep me in the chalet. I still love the snow (and rain!) so am happy to visit the mountains despite being sidelined.
What am I looking for? That's a great question...someone who can hold their own at a party and make people around them smile. A sports fan (Giants, Sharks and 49ers are a great start). A guy that won't give the finger to a 90 year old lady for cutting him off (yes, I know guys like that). A kind heart, confidence and a sense of humor are "must haves" with the people I spend my time with. I love to kiss. I mean really kiss. The kind of kiss that makes your knees go weak.
When I'm not spending time with my kids (who are awesome by the way), I work out, spend time outdoors (although not the camper I used to be), and being as active as I can in a reasonable manner (I wish I had more time). I'm looking forward togetting back into golf and maybe even buying myself a mountain bike, in the not too distant future.
I have the best group of friends in the world and enjoy hanging out with them over dinners, BBQs, girls nights out - you name it.
I don't mind cooking (I'm no chef but I can hold my own in a kitchen), but rarely (ok never) have tackled a recipe in any cook book other than Rachael Ray or "How to Cook Healthy Meals in 20 Minutes".
Since I'm not originally from the area (although have been here 10 years), I still find it exciting to discover new places. I've traveled to many different places around the globe and can't wait for my next overseas adventure (going back to Italy at some point for sure! This time, I won't need to stay in youth hostels and live on day-old bread). The list of "one day, I will go to ______" is long.
Well I've gpne on long enough. If you are interested in getting to know more about me, please send me a message.
p.s I'm confused by winks" as I honestly don't know what to do with them--say thank you?? Please email me instead since I'm pretty confiident I know how to respond that way. Thanks!
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. I'm not the online-dating type of person. I have always felt (and still do) if you can't meet someone in the conventional way, then maybe that's for a reason... I have a friend, however, who has nagged me until I finally succumbed, hence the only reason you're seeing me here on a dating site.
