Date men and women from Belmont, United States. The world is an ever changing place, isn't it. So much for the days of cruisin the boulevards in your hotrod Chevy trying to meet hot girls. I guess with the price of gas these days that’s just not practical. Times have truly changed. I'm usually pretty good on my feet and up front and in person. In the past and when I did meet someone, I’d get the vibe if we have a connection after the first couple minutes. So, this is a little different for me. Here goes let’s see what happens.
Me; outdoors are important. I'm probably not the one sitting by the pool; I'm the one in it. I guess I'd prefer to participate than watch. You might see me moving down winding back road on a motorcycle or even a bike. I might be hiking up a trail, checking out some beautiful vista. Or zooming down the ski slopes, or falling on my arss when trying to keep up with the kids on a wakeboard. You might even get me on a plane to have breakfast in some foreign hotel with a veranda overlooking the beach, as long as I can get out and explore the surroundings that same afternoon. I have an appreciation in all of nature’s beauty and of all human endeavors. I basically really like this life. My interests are vast; I can probably have an intelligent and challenging conversation with almost anyone. I enjoy people and their stories.
My likes; the smell of the fresh sea air and the calming sound of the waves, warm afternoon breezes, rolling hillsides and jagged mountains lining the sky, the roaring might of rivers and trickling calm of streams, the sound of music and children playing in a school yard, the serene silent beauty of the desert, sipping coffee in a cafe, trying new wines, great conversation, a brilliant smile, the softness of a woman’s body and her lips… Challenges and competition, riding anything on two wheels, snow skiing (now it’s snowboarding), boating, going more that 55 when you can get away with it, traveling for enjoyment and mental input, meeting new people, trying new things, learning, reading a good book, cars, gadgets, building stuff, and definitely barbequing on a warm sunny day.
My dislikes; hypocrites, unnecessary drama, emotional basket cases, pretentiousness, and people who feel the need to cheat or shortcut on a regular basis. You must be honest with yourself before you can be honest with others. We should live honorably.
Although I really like spontaneity and versatility, total schizophrenics need not apply; I am looking to have an enjoyable life with one someone and not with several wrapped in one. Well maybe if you have different names for your different personalities, well then, it’s still not okay… I think there is a difference between spontaneity and spastic.

let's see, how do i describe myself? i think you have to be in person to know someone; and, so it's chemistry for me; but i like to think i'm pretty interesting, witty, intelligent, curious, drawn to the creative edges over the mainstream, and compassion and empathy are important values; i'm sort of slow at getting to know people, mainly because i think i like to really get to know them
