Date women from United States / Arkansas / Oakland, 34 year old

Date a woman from United States. A bit about us ... You are my partner. We walk shoulder to shoulder through hills and valleys that are this life. It's exciting and full of wonder, made more perfect by how close and honest we are with one another. Perfect doesn't mean flawless, just perfect for us. You are bright, confident, driven, spiritual, and I think you are amazingly sexy. I admire your intellect, integrity, and passion. We donРІР‚в„ўt always agree, but we know how to agree to disagree. It is those differences, in part, that make us as strong as we were. We complement each other, but don't try to complete. Our down time is spent exploring the world, or enjoying some romantic downtime at home. We like to cook together, although I very much enjoy cooking for you.
Friends say I'm genuine, refreshingly honest and surprising sometimes. Family is very important to me. Not proximity as much as strong ties. I love to travel (both near and far) and I want to see more of the world. I'm not looking for someone to complete me, I'm hoping to find a partner who wants to share and build a life with me. Someone who is big enough to allow me to be my full self and share all of the beauty that happens when two people connect; intellectually, physically, emotionally, spiritually and socially.

Meet someone special from United States. I have amazing friends and a supportive family, a career that I enjoy and am pretty good at (but I aim for balance, work is part of my life, not my life). I am into yoga, hiking, cooking, reading.
I work the high heels/pencil skirts and hiking boots/jeans looks equally well (see photo :)
I am originally from Bulgaria, so I have a bit of an accent, which some find fascinating...eh...
One of my majors in college was French, and to this day, I try to keep up my knowledge by reading French books, watching French movies, meeting French speakers in the area over wine and practicing rolling my rrrrrrs and ou-la-las :)
Book-wise, I am going through a nonfiction phase. I tend to pick up random books at library sales. Just finished Seabiscuit (I know, so 10 years ago :) Recently read: Keith Richards's Life (which brought along a month-long obsession with The Stones), Steve Job's biol The Great Gatsby, Harry Potter, East of the West (short stories by a Bulgarian author), War and Peace (Russians do not fear drama), Dispatches from the Edge (Anderson Cooper's memoir), Grapes of Wrath, short stories in general.
TV... not that important. Nothing against it and actually that new HBO show with Jeff Daniels - Newsroom - looks really good, but aside from PBS, I rarely find time to watch it. Watching reruns of The Office and The Big Bang Theory is always fun.
I enjoy cooking for friends and family. I make an intoxicating tiramisu. For the right company, I have been known to really have my way with an apple tart :)
Music: Live shows in the Bay Area. Hardly Strictly Bluegrass. Freight and Salvage. Opera on Tap at Cafe Royale. And then, The Decembrists, Morrissey, Ray LaMontagne, The Stones (Sympathy for the Devil is on multiple playlists), Dylan, Cohen, Alison Krauss, The Killers, Adele, Norah Jones, Florence and the Machine, Miles Davis, Coltrane, Chet Baker, The Velvet Underground, Etta James, and oh-so-many others...
Miscellaneous other stuff I like: Driving on Highway 1 on a sunny Saturday morning listening to KFOG Acoustic Sunrise. Stories about beating the odds (e.g., NPR's StoryCorps) and underdogs (aka Seabiscuit). Fresh ground coffee on a Saturday morning. Hiking in Santa Cruz's Wilder Ranch State Park. Road trips. Berkeley. Paris. Tombstone (the movie, not the pizza)... Did you know Wyatt Earp is buried in Colma? And speaking of pizza, Arizmendi! Farmers Market on Lake Merritt, L.A. Confidential. Charlie Rose/Tavis Smiley. The American Experience. NPR. Fort Mason. Magnolia. Sushi. Frankie and Johnny (the movie)
Above all, I am looking for chemistry. Common interests are relevant, but not determinative of compatibility. Someone who is comfortable in his own skin, with a sense of humor and interested in getting to know me, maybe grab a drink or coffee. Expecting more at this stage seems a bit much, so trying to keep it real one date at a time...

Date a soulmate from United States. I would describe myself as down-to-earth, deep, loving, loyal, passionate, sensual, sensitive, warm, intellectual, self-aware, and introspective. I'm authentic and genuine, I live from my heart, and am very open about who I am, what I think, and how I feel. I'm also adamant about what I believe in and what is right for me. I'm very direct, but I always do my best to be kind in the way I communicate. I'll answer your questions with as much honesty as possible because I want you to really know me. I have a serious side when it comes to things that I hold dear to my heart, but I can also be a total goofball when you least expect it.
In a relationship, monogamy, emotional intimacy, affection, and commitment are essential to me. I have a tremendous amount to give, but I want the same in return. At this point, I am looking for my life-partner. Creating a family is a priority for me, but I will certainly wait for the right partner and the right time.
I tend to be more introverted, but I'm also super friendly and easy to get along with. I just prefer spending time with close friends and family as opposed to having a large social circle (I value deeper connections). During my time off of work, I like to stay pretty active, and especially love spending time in nature. I also love to exercise (mostly yoga, hiking, climbing, interval training, and kickboxing). At night, I enjoy going out to eat, seeing live music, or visiting friends; but I can also be a home-body and cozy up with a movie/book/wine/you...
I'm looking for a man with a kind heart, integrity, honesty, ambition, strong morals and values, and emotional depth. I know I need to be with someone who can look at themselves honestly and who can communicate openly and directly. I'd hope we can connect intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually. Of course, physical attraction and amazing chemistry are super important too, and I'm a gal who loves to give and receive plenty of affection.
I'm a hopeless romantic, and I believe in love that lasts if the two people are willing to fight for it. I'm looking for something extraordinary. So if you're looking for the same, you think I'm damn cute, and you want to create a family some day, then I'd love to hear from ya! Oh, and by the way, I'd much prefer a message over a wink please!

Meet a woman from Oakland, United States. I'm a sensualist, seeking the same. An appreciation for small beauty, an affinity for the absurd.
I'm looking for an alpha to my beta. Someone who will sweep me off the couch and back into the world. Someone expressive, sarcastic, and confident. Unafraid to get close. Strong hands.

Date someone special from Oakland, United States. I am very down to earth. I like to laugh. I like to have a good time. I work hard and try to play harder.
I will say up front that I'm pretty thick (in a good way). Have a big booty (it's nice). I don't want you to think that I'm fat just because I say I'm thick...any man who appreciates a woman with a little something to hold on to will understand what I mean. But if you like super skinny chicks, I'm not the one. ;-)
Even though I am educated/intelligent, I am very soft and love to be a lady. I am very affectionate. I don't have to be all over you all the time, but I definitely like to cuddle and give affection.
I am very passionate...
In a relationship, I am looking for someone who is supportive, strong, intelligent, loving, funny, passionate...
I am very spontaneous. I like to take weekend trips to Napa, Monterey and other places. I like to travel to the Carribean as much as I can. I love white sandy beaches and the ocean. I am very busy with work etc, but I will definitely make time for that someone special and give us a chance to really get to know that special someone.
I just finished up my Spring/Summer softball league and we won the championship ;-). I'm pretty athletic and like outdoor activities like softball, mini golf, golf lessons (when I can), whitewater rafting, etc. etc. I can be competitive. I want my kids to be athletic. Lol.
I am God-fearing and want a man who is also God-fearing...I do go to Church on a regular basis. I am accepting of all religions but know that life is easier if you are a practicing Christian.
I am very close to my mom and dad and brother. Family is very important to me.
I am not going to act like I am not wanting to be married and have a family, because I do. It is in my heart. But I have had patience to wait for the right man, and will continue to have that patience until he finds me. ;-)

Meet a soulmate from Oakland, United States. My closest friends would describe me as a passionate go getter. When faced with life challenges I reach out for support from friends and family members. I value my community greatly and actively work to create one that is aligned with who I am. I value strength of character, honesty and humor. As a single mother I am most proud of my beautiful children. And the fact that I went back to school and finished an undergraduate degree and masters degree with the two of them in tow upon becoming separated and while going through a divorce. I am someone who strives to rise above challenges and is energized by creative projects. I love music and art and find satisfaction in my work as a piano teacher and various other creative projects that keep my mind engaged and expanding. I am hoping to attract someone down to earth who is attuned to their higher self - and actively does things and thinks about things that strengthens a connection with a higher power, because that is how I am. My social life is very important to me - my connection to friends and family. Conversation is the most important aspect of my social life. Going and doing things is part of the conversation but not the other way around. Movies, art museums, eating out, concerts, nature are all very fun activities that I enjoy doing with people I care about. People describe me as funny and fun, articulate and passionate. I smile and laugh a lot. I envision finding someone who loves and accepts me for who I am who is comfortable in his own skin, and can appreciate my strong independent side but who can offer me refuge from that part of myself, be supportive, kind and gentle, and offer true partnership in life. Being able to talk about your past failures and have an optimistic outlook for the future is imperative.

Date a woman from Arkansas, United States. I am an energetic, committed and curious person. I have worn many hats but I currently spend my days teaching seven and eight year olds and my evenings exercising, reading and sometimes working :( When IРІР‚в„ўm off the clock I usually like to relax by swimming, hiking, salsa dancing or taking a walk around Lake Merrit. I am always listening to something: NPR, podcasts (BBC News, New Yorker Fiction; Rachel Maddow; This American Life; Car Talk) and of course, music. I have an eclectic range of musical likes but anything with a classic or acoustic guitar wins me over quickly. I love stories: in songs, in print, in verbal form. I also enjoy thinking about words and syntax; child development and education; history and injustice; Spanish.
My ideal guy would be someone I'd connect with intellectually, emotionally and physically. Aren't we all looking for that?! ;) Someone who can appreciate my occasional introversion; who sees the nuances in complex issues, who is local but open to travel internationally!
My dream guy is someone who wants to contribute to humanity in some way...that's all ;)

Meet someone special from Arkansas, United States. Looking for someone I can spend time with and maybe walk my dog, Snoopy. Someone that won't call every second of the day. Who can spend time by themselves and be happy.
Who is independent and can cook!
