Date women from United States / Arkansas / Oakland, 63 year old

Date a soulmate from Arkansas, United States. I am sweet, sophisticated, smart, sensual and take things slow, and am looking for someone likewise. I am over-educated but you don't have to be. Just be street smart (I'm not, very). I'm moderately athletic and would like you to be, too. Smoking cigarettes is not good. I would love it if you're tall. I love and respect animals and hopefully you do, too. (I have cats so it would not be great if you're allergic to them.) Really, it's all about the chemistry.

Meet a woman from Arkansas, United States. The photos are current, but for weekly decreases -increasingly more curvy is great! A best physical asset is the texture of my skin though my eyes sparkle with humor when telling a story or sharing a joke. I'm whimsical, with a great sense of play when with the right person. DoesnРІР‚в„ўt really show in the photos. Keeping active by vigorous times at a gym, formerly enjoyed skiing, sailing, canoeing, boating, flying, hiking, and especially camping (all the way to Alaska one year was terrific). Nature, in all itРІР‚в„ўs forms, is the greatest movie of all. Being with a fellow once again, for the pleasure of being a team, would top that. I find engineers, scientists, educators, active minds, and self made men especially appealing. Well developed, deep or broad interests are terrific!
After 20 years with a fellow now gone, I’ve learned a thing or two on how to enjoy living peacefully. Arguing is a waste of time. Being a loyal personality with a twinkle and welcoming smile, looking for same coming back towards me. Finding out what you like, discovering new interests together, finding new ways of thinking and doing, listening to your voice is what I want to do. Born in Ohio, I’ve lived in California for decades, loving the diversity that it offers in climates and peoples. My father was a CEO, inventor and engineer, my mother an artist. My grandfather’s favorite saying was “honesty is the best policy”. He was right. I look for integrity, kindness and a certain awareness of the good in life. By the way, unless I've corresponded with you for a while/met you in person, I'm afraid I'm not at all interested in writing to your other address, thanks. Please belong to the service and be willing to travel if far away. If you describe yourself as a good kisser, my response might be "and???". Silly fellows.
IРІР‚в„ўm very fond of children and wild animals (sometimes they are much the same!). The bucket list includes getting to really know an elephant, maybe a trip to Wales to meet the ancestral land tho all American heinz 57 says it all with my French looks, English sensibility, German determination, etc. As an artist, it is easy to pickup and leave for trips. Flexibility is a strong aspect, with an interest in meeting new people or developing relationships with your family, as mine are few and far away. Instead, IРІР‚в„ўm lucky to have long time friends of many ages as family. Older people are extra special, perhaps IРІР‚в„ўll reach 100 too as it is the family trend.
Favorite things? Reading, PBS, movies, teaching apprentices and viewing nature plus Bandit the big dog. Zipping off for cross country drives, trips to far away places... Then there's staying at home before the fireplace, listening to music, entertaining friends in our home, volunteering, and running a household as the best things in life. Quiet is beautiful. Enjoying intelligent conversations with friends, speculating about cultural trends and wondering about life in general, appeals. Sipping wine, shopping, wearing stylish clothing, bars and dancing hold no lure for this lady, sorry!. Attending formal events is comfortable, with their light chit chat ok in limited amounts as is watching athletic events. Tthe first is my heritage and has been part of my career but isn't necessary for my well being. Having grown up in Ohio then matured in Michigan, IРІР‚в„ўd rather avoid spectator sportsl, including the large crowds. Museums, art shows, concerts, participatory sports, picnics, friends, and dining out are so much more fun.
Then thereРІР‚в„ўs just spending time together at home, perhaps reading a book or watching a movie, pottering about together, admiring you, snuggling and smiling at each other, well, thatРІР‚в„ўs the very best! Send me a note, don't be shy, let me know that we might meet at a cafe to see what is possible. Be brave!
Life is an adventure and so much fun! It continues to be more so as the years go by.
Thanks for reading this. See you around.

Date someone special from Arkansas, United States. I'm at such a wonderful time in my life where I have great health, lots of freedom, and feel optimistic and energetic....with just a bit of irreverence thrown in....and I'm looking to share my life with someone who enjoys those qualities as well as being treated with respect and caring...
My interests are pretty varied- I love to swim, garden, cook and bake, walk in Tilden and in my Rockridge neighborhood, local stuff like street fairs and farmers' markets. I work out at the Berkeley Y to keep my BMI less than 25! I spend a fare amount of time operating my vacation rental- people visit from all over the world and have a real home in which to stay. I actively maintain my garden, which I designed myself after taking out the front lawn years ago. I tutor reading during the school year at a local Charter School.
I'm retired from my career as a financial planning educator- I taught in various East Bay adult schools and at the community college level for many years. I was a political progressive in a pretty conservative industry and I found it to be satisfying because I felt I made a positive contribution to peoples' well being and future security.
Back in the '60s and '70s, I was a self supporting artist and finally earned my degree in Studio Art 10 years ago. I took classes while still working as a financial planner. I'm told I look younger than my age and, for some reason, people think I'm from the East Coast, although I was born and raised here in the East Bay.
I love to traveI and am looking forward to taking a few trips. My style is pretty low-key- staying in smaller local places and eating local food. Now on my proverbial 'Bucket List": Paris and Giverny, Budapest, Prague and Cuba...not all at the time!
My family and friends tell me I'm a good cook, which makes me happy because I love to do it...and having a special someone to share and cook for is something I really enjoy.
I'm looking to being in a long-term, sensual relationship with a man who has a somewhat flexible schedule.

Meet a soulmate from United States. I am adventurous and inquisitive and fascinated by people and the grand planet itself!
I have taught school on four continents. I am aiming for five!
I am clearly addicted to reading and have a crush on John Stewart. I dream of being published.
I am not looking for a husband but am intrigued by having a man to hang out with and trade ideas about the meaning of life.
The most beautiful places I've seen might be Santorini and the Grand Tetons but I'm perfectly happy building sandcastles with my grandson at Lake Temescal.
I'm very simple and complex. If you'd like to find out more, let me know. It could be fun, yes?

Date a woman from United States. I am a woman who loves deeply and is a lot of fun. My best friend says I am very loyal. I came of age in the 60's and have retained those values. The men I love are kind, funny, and smart. I enjoy movies, live music, talking about life. I am looking for true love. I have a good sense of humor and can be silly. Trying to be loving and kind is very important to me. I am politically active and am proud of working with people trying to make the world a better and more progressive place. I have loved and been loved deeply before and am looking for a passionate, fun, supportive relationship full of trust and mutual respect. I will be your best friend.

Meet someone special from United States. I am looking for kindness, someone who is supportive and cares for those he loves with a passionate intensity, and keeps his sense of humor while doing so! I want a relationship that begins as a friendship of equals, and continues into a deep connection based on mutual respect and shared interests.
I dance and sing, write (currently working on a novel), and am retired... at the moment. I love to be in a room with musicians creating their sounds, and I'm trying to learn to play the mandolin. I like rock n roll, bluegrass, folk, some forms of jazz, African/Cuban, Celtic and other world music, classical. I speak Spanish fluently, and lived in Latin America for 4 years as a Peace Corps volunteer. I love my grown daughter to distraction. Traveling floats my boat. I've been to many countries but my next goal is to get to New Zealand.

Date a soulmate from Oakland, United States. I take every opportunity to smile -- at my garden, my friends, my three gorgeous sons, good music and dancing. I believe in being of service to my community and to the planet, I am a loyal friend, a dedicated mother, an avid reader, a good listener, a happy gardener, a quiet nature explorer and a playful cook. Witty movies, stories and people make me laugh, but I also enjoy thoughtful conversations, artistic foreign films and documentaries. I'm very grateful for my family, my circle of friends, for art, dancing and good, healthy food. I love spending time with friends and family cooking and sharing food, exploring art museums and gardens. I also cherish my solitary time of reading, contemplating, meditating, walking and taking in the sights and sounds of nature.
I'm looking for someone who is kind, fun, honest, grounded, independent, open, communicative, happy with his life and, like me, is looking for a committed, monogamous, drama-free relationship.

Meet a woman from Oakland, United States. Life is as good as our participation in it. There is much more fun to be had, things to do, see, touch, and taste, good people to meet and get to know.
I have a great sense of humor and try to laugh as much as possible. I love arts and music, trying new things that require thinking and new learning from me. I also like going out, travels near and far (very far), driving, football, movies in real theaters, lively meals with friends and being outside. I run, hike, and workout. I live in my body (as much as my heart and mind); it feels good to be strong and agile. I love all things with fur and four feet (sorry reptiles). I play well with others, but also enjoy my own company and time. I'm reflective and thoughtful, kind (Stevie Wonder: "kindness knows no shame"), hugely optimistic without being naive. My well-developed social conscience (and yours) is very important to me.
YOU are smart and funny too, open to new ideas, sociable and outgoing. You know your strengths and rough spots. You know how to work on the hard stuff with another person and go on. You enjoy your guyness and say what you feel. You have also done interesting and meaningful things in your life and have more in mind. You too love fur. You like to cook more than me, yet can appreciate my knowledge of food and enthusiastic dishwashing skill.
Since we both know the pleasures and rewards of nurtured relationships, there is no pressure to get anywhere ahead of our time.

Date someone special from Oakland, United States. I like Annie O because she took being a sure shot and used it as a ticket to ride - and ride she did, right out of hillbillyness into an exciting and fulfilling life. And she was a performer and shrewd businesswoman as well. Annie's been my alterego for years. Now she gets to come out of the closet. Hey, this is fun - if a little self-conscious. My business partner and companion died and now I must create a new life. It would be wonderful to know a fun person to pal around with. Walks with my dog, Zoe. (I also have three wonderful cats.) Movies, flea markets, adventures, rides in the country, bookstores, coffeehouses, and projects of all sorts. I have a cabin with guesthouse in the gold country where there's lots of fun goings on. I'm accomplished and spirited. I'm high energy and love to tell stories which I deliver with a great deal of passion. I enjoy quick witted people who like to ponder the paradoxes and loopholes of existence - and business. I like being a team with someone to create some special something or other. I'm a great supporter - but equally good at taking the lead. I like people who are upbeat, creative and outgoing; warm, supportive and generous; faithful, loyal, communicate and follow through. I like to horse around and hang out. I own my businesses, have a flexible work schedule, and money rolling in. (I am a book publisher and rental property owner.) I'm blond, shoulder length hair, blue/green eyes, and am a little over 5'5". If you resonate with what I've said, send me an email, let's chat. Looking for a fun, outgoing person, a little or a lot off beat, independent minded, thoughtful, a bit of a Peter Pan, capable, accomplished, articulate, worldly, dreamer, practical, doer, supportive, sensitive - and . . .

. I am affectionate and loving. I am extremely happy and I love to laugh. I just turned 62, but I feel like I did when I was 18! I am authentic and I strive to be transparent in all that I do. I have wonderful friends and a great family. I am at a very contented place in my life. That being said, I do miss being in a relationship. I am ready to fall in love and have a committed relationship.
I am returning to school in the fall at Holy Names University to finish my degree. I spend real money on my virtual farm on Farmville. But it comes with this caveat: I was a web developer, so I feel I am contributing to ecommerce! LOL I love to cook and have recently become fixated on the Food Network. I love to read.
I think there is nothing that can't be accomplished and that life is good. I require that my partner be similarly optimistic about life. ;-)

. I'm a youthful, attractive, intelligent, creative, warm, good-hearted, thoughtful, and sometimes inspired life-long learner.
I'm a classical musician/piano teacher, and an animal and nature lover.
I'm looking for an intelligent, attractive (physically fit/not overweight) man, someone who is honest and kind, someone who can listen as well as talk, someone who has a sense of humor.
I would like to meet someone who has some interests in common, who appreciates the arts, who would share at least some outings to movies, restaurants, concerts, museums, travel (esp. to some beautiful places, like the national parks) .
I like quiet times at home as well, watching a movie/massage exchange, cooking a meal, reading.
I'm looking ultimately for a good friend/lover, someone to go through the highs and lows with, someone who is interested in mutual growth as individuals and in our relationship. I want the adventure and discovery of an enduring relationship, and love.

. Friends would say I am arty, smart, energetic and spiritually inclined. I'm a homeowner, a gardener, a Buddhist, and a reader.
I love nature, cities, music, being in water, laughing, and walking. I like making art, going to see shows of others who are doing art, traveling and conversation.
I am grateful for retirement, and the time it affords me to do the things I love. I am very left leaning, somewhat solitary, and generally upbeat. I like doing things and going places and am always glad to get home.
I am looking for companionship, warmth, intimacy, and support in a relationship.
