A little about me......I am originally from Michigan and although we moved when I was young, I was raised with Midwest values. I believe in treating a lady like a lady and chivalry is not a foreign concept with me. I am a father of two kids that are the center of my life. I have my kids half the week, but I have plenty of time for a special lady in my life. I am very active in my children's' lives; I coach my son's football and help with my daughter's soccer as needed. I only help as needed because I have zero skills or knowledge in soccer, but I sure can set up cones for drills like a champ and chase down a ball or two after an errant pass.
I have my dream career and I cannot call it a job because it is a calling for me. I have had some amazing opportunities because of my time in the military and my current career. I work very hard and love every minute of it. I don't want to convey the wrong message, my career is not all consuming and have a good separation of work and play.
As far as what I am looking for....I'm looking to meet a special lady to develop a friendship with that could lead into something long term. Too many women believe that you have to talk 24/7 for it to be a good date or relationship. I disagree. I enjoy the little things. Comfortable silences, being able to look in your eyes without saying a word. Holding hands, holding you without needing to talk. Enjoying us...just being. Ever spend 6 hours on the phone with someone and only talk for a total of 2? It's all about them just being there. Communication is more than verbal.
