I need a playmate to go play with!!! Go out to dinner (adventurous dining as well!), go see a movie (the drive-in!), go hiking, go exploring, shoot some pool, shoot some targets, play some cards, hell - I may even pick up golf, go out dancing, go see a show and get late night truck food (there's some good ones in Tucson!)...There's loads of fun stuff to do. There must be some kindred spirits nearby...I've always had pretty serious relationships and never really "dated" as such but am actually quite in to the idea of "dating" right now.
I think the best thing about living here is the geography, which can be spectacular and I am avidly exploring. It seems like some things are a lot more do-able here. For instance, I recently thought it would be cool to learn how to fly a plane and actually, the fact is, after I looked in to it it isn't that difficult or expensive to get your license here in AZ and not just a pipe dream, whereas in NY it's probably really uptight and prohibitively expensive to do something like that.
My pet peeves are: people who are jaded (or at least think they are), people who complain a lot, people with stunted imaginations, people with delusional expectations that are based on what they've seen on crap TV and movies, pretty girls who wear too much make up.

I’d really like to consider being a foster parent under the right circumstances some day or earn the right to be a father figure to some one else’s children, but I don’t want to conceive a child of my own (I've had a vasectomy). I will only go into the reasons why with some one after I get to know them better. As you can see I’m an open book and honest to a fault. If you ask me a question or for my opinion. I will give you an honest reply, even if it will be hurtful. If I know the answer will be hurtful, I’ll try to dodge the question. If pressed for an answer, I’ll give it as softly and gently as possible but it will be the truth, not a lie just to make you feel good. I’m a very faithful person and NEVER cheat. I did one time in my life when I was a teen. I had met a girl at a high school football game we spent a few hours together. We decided to be a couple. Later that night I slept with a girl I was friends with who was staying at my house. It has been almost 20 years and I still rub salt in that wound so I’ll never forget my shame and regret for my indiscretion. I’m also not the love �em and leave �em type. I don’t cheat on a person I’m involved with nor do I help some one else cheat on the person they are with. Animals are one of my biggest joys in life. I enjoy them all, big or small, fur, scales or feathers, it really doesn’t matter! My relationships have almost all been long term since I was about 17. They usually lasted about 3 years. The most recent lasted almost 5. I have not been married yet because I take marriage VERY seriously. I’m not leery of commitment. I only want to be confident there are no major issues in a relationship before I make a life long commitment. I know there will be arguments and not all days will be perfect, but at the end of each day (for a decent amount of time) I want to go to sleep (even if I’m pissed off) thinking that I want her to be with me for the rest of my life with out a doubt before I start to consider thoughts of marriage. My desired traits in a woman? You must have a warm smile and a true heart. You must be able to see past your own flaws (we ALL have flaws) and still know you are attractive and desirable. I for example don’t feel I’m going to land a male modeling gig, but I know I have plenty enough to offer you in a relationship to make you feel lucky and special. You should enjoy and appreciate being taken care of but never expect it. I don’t need you to be rich; I only need you to be able to live with in the boundaries of your financial state. If you make minimum wage but your bills are paid and your kitchen is stocked with food for you to eat, that is good enough for me. I’m sure there are other things that I need a woman to be or to have but really it just comes down to I need you to have a good heart and be a responsible adult. Oh yeah, and the most important of all if she is a single mother. I have to be able to respect the way she raises and treats her children. If I can’t respect a woman’s method of parenting, I can’t respect her as a person. I say start as friends and see where it goes
