I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Arizona in 1998. My childhood was great and I was raised with strong Midwestern values. I am an only child and my family still lives in MO. I miss the rain and thunderstorms but not the nasty winters I remember growing up there. I try and go back 2 or 3 times a year to see my family and relax and go fishing on my boat.
I am a Golf Course Superintendent at a large resort in Phoenix and I couldn't imagine doing anything else, that's how much I enjoy my job. It has taken a lot of hard work to get to where I am today and it is rewarding to see that it all paid off in the end.
So what makes me different from all the other guys? Many things! I am a very open person, honest, and I tell people what's on my mind. I don't cheat or sneak around behind someone's back because there is no reason to be in a relationship in the first place if that is happening. When I ask how your day has been, I really do care! I can even make you chicken noodle soup if you're sick.
I'm not sure if I have a specific type of person I'm looking for. The girl-next-door type, a shy and quiet person, or a wild party animal- they all have different qualities I'm looking for. I guess the most important thing I'm after is honesty. I'm not worried about your job or how much money you make, those things are unimportant to me. Just like me for what and who I am and we'll be just fine. Also it would be great to meet someon who likes to go on trips and loves animals.
