I’ve struggled with my approach of how to present myself on this profile and started off by riffling through a couple of dozen and copying and pasting some stuff I liked on a few of them and never quite got the verbiage to flow or felt like it was a true representation of myself and/or what I wanted to say.
The pictures and stories are quite interesting on some of these profiles as well and it’s even more interesting the stories that are not told through the profile as a collective. My initial thought is to provide a detailed descriptive of who I am with a little of what I’m looking for with some other thoughts and viewpoints that capture the true essence of who I am with the intent that clicks with someone. That being said I hope my profile story lives up to my foreword. ?
I am a father of an 8 year old son and 11 year old daughter who are the love of my life. They are very respectful, happy and brilliant children whom I have 50% of the time. I attribute that to the good co-parenting relationship I have with their mother and the tranquil/loving environment we have created for them between the two households.
I travel 50% of the time normally that has lead me to some pretty interesting places so besides a weekend trip or two a year and a family vacation I am not looking to travel any more than that. I believe Phoenix and Arizona has a lot to offer for entertainment and do love to instinctively do things as I find the best things in life are random. I don’t plan but I am the master of improvising.
Associating the above two paragraphs and adding the percentages project the appearance that I’ve pretty much got my hands full but I believe you make the time for things that are important. While I have given this some thought I believe there are people out there equally as busy that are looking and desire a relationship in the midst of a busy life.
I’m a guy who supports and believes in his family and friends. We all make each other better, stronger and smarter. I love to entertain at home with barbecues and activities and will fill the house with family and friends given any opportunity. It does help that I used to be a chef and they know they get some amazing food too!
I was born and raised and Pittsburgh, PA and am the oldest with two younger sisters. I have lived in AZ for 24 years and I love the valley and the people here. I have always attributed the bright sunny weather to people upbeat/happy personalities’. I’m a very outgoing person and tend to fall on the joker side.
I believe in meeting for coffee first and keeping things light. Most people are smart enough to realize if there is a mutual attraction and if there is not to at least enjoy the moment with no offense taken.

Now that you know I can be serious, let’s move on :)
When I’m out and about with friends, you might find me at a restaurant enjoying some good food, watching the game at a sports bar, or just hanging out at a dive bar. When it’s time to chill, I’m at home watching a movie, playing games or just hanging out with friends and family. I’m open to trying just about anything (twice). To stay in shape, I hit the gym and mix up my workouts between weights, hiking and a little running. I play softball once a week and I work on my golf game as much as possible. It would be nice to have a golf partner but if you beat me, you won’t be invited again (ok maybe). I try to eat healthy as much as possible but no vegan or vegetarian here. Put a perfectly grilled steak (medium rare) in front of me and watch the animal come out. I have my head screwed on straight (?) and I keep it that way by controlling what goes in. My family is pretty cool and I’m lucky to have them close, so I spend a lot of time with them. I’m passionate about my work but I’ve learned to have balance in my life. (rehab)
Well…enough about me. Let’s talk about you. Are you the total package? Are you attractive, smart, funny and easy going? I prefer the girl next door to a lot of glitz and glamour. Don’t get me wrong, a dress and heels definitely have their place, but there’s something about a girl in a t-shirt, jeans, and flip flops. You should be positive and have your own opinions but also be open to new or different ideas. You’re a person of integrity so you do what you say and you always follow through. You don’t have to be a neat freak, but you should be at least somewhat organized and clean. If you have kids (or plan to), raising good kids should be important to you. I don’t have my own, but I know you get out what you put in. You enjoy a good sweaty work out and you like to eat healthy.
