I've changed since that time. I no longer need to drive fast everywhere, and tend to prefer chick flicks most of the time now.
Relationships and art and things of history, beauty, and soul hold more appeal now than gizmos and gadgets, although I love the Internet and my HDTV.
I have a well-paying job that I have been doing way too long, and think a lot about what I will do next when my job disappears.
I don't know if it is age or boredom or hip arthritis, but I've slowed down a lot in the last few years and my priorities have changed.
Motorcycles used to be the thing I did for fun, and I'm still looking for something to fill that void. ( Before that it was skiing, and before that it was flying.)
What am I looking for?
Fun, mostly. So many things can be fun, shared with someone, that aren't much fun alone.
Pretty much anything that involves leaving the house is more fun with someone ...
And, really, who doesn't love to laugh? (There *WAS* that time with the broken ribs ...)
It is really hard to know who will end up being fun reading online profiles, so it is the pictures that dictate first cut. Superficial, I know, but that's the nature of this medium. I will say that since I'm 5'8", I prefer petite women.
I drink red wine every day with lunch and dinner, and the occasional beer. That's it. Answering "Regular Drinker" makes me look like a lush, but I never drink distilled liquor. Just thought I'd clear that up. Oh, and lunch is rarely before 4PM.
Excuse the shirt-off photo. Since fitness has always been a big part of my life, I expect the same from a partner. I'm not quite in the same shape as the photo, but it shows my level of commitment as I moved into my 50's.
Don't be discouraged if I don't respond if you reach out. It may only mean that I haven't given them any money yet. I find their marketing a little annoying.

I could afford to drop a few pounds, but I fit comfortably in an airline seat. I enjoy physical activity. I like target shoooting, playing golf [not very good, but enjoy the comradery], taking an occasional walk, going to museums and art galleries, and going to the theatre. I am very social, although there are times when personal solitude is a must. I love children. If they are small, noisy and can't behave, other peoples children. I am looking forward to having grand children who visit and then go home. I have three grown-up kids who I love more than anything. You will feel safe with me no matter where we go.
