Date someone special from West Menlo Park, United States. I'm somewhat independent, so I appreciate someone who is secure enough while I pursue my hobbies (dancing) even if they are not interested. In return, I have no problem with someone getting together "with the boys" to watch a game. I come from a multicultural background, and my friends are of different ethnicities and orientations so I appreciate someone who can see and understand with humor and kindness all the foibles of cultural differences. I like people who are interested in current events and enjoy "National Geographic" topics. A global orientation/view definitely helps. I am a runner, and have been in triathons, marathons, etc. but I find they don't make for very good conversation, finish times don't matter unless you're an Olympian... I'm also perfectly happy with my toes in the sun and my dog in my lap and doing nothing at all... I do have to start my day off with a Newspaper, however. I think the most important thing I'm looking for is a witty sense of humour, (but you don't have to be "on" all the time). So much of life is silly, even some of the serious stuff.
