Don't let the blonde hair deter you - I may have a blonde moment occasionally, but I will fully embrace it, admit it, and show you that there's plenty of intelligence to share. I love to laugh and can really appreciate a great sense of humor, especially if it's enhanced with a dash of sarcasm. A day without laughter is a day wasted. So you'll pretty much see me with a smile on my face majority of the time! I am drawn to those who possess the optimistic "glass half full" outlook, are spontaneous and love an adrenaline rush as much as me. I'm always looking for new adventures - and liken it to the childhood I never had. Like they say, "you're never too young to have a second childhood!" I'm enjoying every moment that a new experience brings, and feel blessed that I am given the opportunity to explore, enjoy, embrace what life has to offer me. A few things that I really enjoy - waterskiing, flying trapeze, drag racing (as a spectator), motorcycle rides (passenger), camping, body surfing, and traveling to new places. I am inspired by all things French - the language and culture - and hope someday to be able to spend some time immersing myself by learning everything I can about the French people. When I'm not seeking out a great new adventure, I can either be found at ATT park cheering on the SF Giants, or at the local pub playing trivia. I am a trivia nut and am pretty fanatical about tabloid/celebrity trivia, 70's 80's music (hoping that the disco era will resurrect itself SOON!), love romantic comedies and horror movies (Zombies rule!).
I could be described as fiercely independent, as I grew up an only child and learned to be an adult at a very early age. I am very mechanically inclined which is sometimes thought of unusual for a woman - but I find this to be a great strength and trait! However, nothing makes me swoon more than a man who can show me that chivalry is NOT dead. I am in no way a raging feminist, and can appreciate the traditional "man courts woman" style of dating. That doesn't mean that I won't pay - it can go both ways! However, it's nice to know that there are true gentlemen with manners and morals out there too!
I am a very proud mom to my 17 year old daughter and have found this one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. She has given me much joy and I feel blessed to have her in my life. Now that she's in a relationship, I find that this is the right time for me to look for someone who can be my partner, soul mate and best friend.
