Date a woman from United States. Where have all the cowboys gone?
You know the guy – he is most comfortable in jeans and t-shirts; likes country music “because it is the story of me” and Can see himself in country songs; believes his mom beat manners into him for a reason and actually uses them; Opens doors and carries in the groceries; doesn’t see himself so macho that he won’t send sweet nothings’ text messages in the middle of a long work day; treats his lady like a princess; listens when she talks and shares in return; won’t look at his cell phone during dinner or while talking with people he cares about; enjoys long walks and long hot baths; loves lazy Sunday afternoons watching football or baseball; loves dogs (not just tolerates them); loves kids.
I love my kids and enjoy them (I enjoyed them at every stage' even the terrible 2’s) – I like the people they have become! I lost my heart to a little blue bundle of joy this last January when my daughter blessed me with my first Grandson. I love being a grandma – any man in my life will have to also love having grandkids and be proud to be called Grandpa.
I love to sit on the patio drinking coffee in the morning and relaxing on the patio with a glass of wine (or whatever your favorite unwind drink happens to be) after work. For 25 years I was the cook, I want a companion who wants to cook with me or even for me. I love family gatherings where everyone is involved – not mom cooking and everyone else enjoying some other activity. I truly believe any chore’ can be fun when done with someone you like. Since my kids are grown there are few things I have to do other than work – so what I choose to do should bring pleasure and/or satisfaction.
I love good surprises! Anyone can give a great Birthday gift but to show up out of the blue on a hot summer afternoon with a Mocha Frappuccino – wow! On the flip side – I love to give the perfect gift.
Are you my cowboy?
