At this point in my life I look back and can say God has been faithful....( through all the ups & downs...joys & sorrows...abundance & lack...successes & failures).....to be who He said He would be..... and now, looking forward, I know He won't be anything less. My hope is to be a fruitful contribution in seeing souls come to Christ & encouraged in their spiritual growth. What that will look like....I don't know yet...but my hope is that I would have company. Hopefully there is someone I would be a blessing to & visa versa. Meet someone special from California, United States. I'm a California girl, born and raised here in the South Bay area. My interests include going to the gym on regular basis (for the last 24 years) doing aerobic and weight lifting classes. About 5 years ago I started hiking and have been on many hiking/camping trips during this time. My hiking experience includes not only local hiking, but also in AZ, NV, New Mexico, Utah and some in Colorado. Camping along the way. Something else I like is kayaking - mostly done in the bay in Long Beach. Would like to do more of this.
This year I was introduced to riding on the back of a Harley. Wow!! What a thrill. So now I have my own helmet, H-D leather jacket, gloves and ride in jeans and cowboy boots. What about you?
Bicycling is also great fun, especially riding along the strand at the beach. Love the beach too!
I have a need to express myself artistically. Mostly in the way of doing mosaics, making jewelry and knitting (mostly scarves). This is what I do instead of reading books (unless, of course, it is a book that pertains to one of my artsy endeavors).
I am now retired from a 9 to 5 type job, so now I can devote as much time as I want to doing things that make me the happiest.
Now about that man in my life. I would like to find someone that shares some of the same interests and values. Hopefully he would be kind, passionate, adventurous, fun-loving, communicative, be able to do some travel and he must like and be kind to animals. Would be great if he would introduce me to some of the things that he is passionate about.
