Date a man from Sunset Beach, United States. I am that I am. As this word picture evolves those familiar with that quote will probably think I resemble Popeye (I yam that I yam, yuk) in character more than any higher power.
Anyway, I was born here and have always lived on the coast except for 14 years in the tropics of Hawaii, Acapulco and Tahiti. By the way, I have 2 Tahitian grand kids (my son, the Surfer).
I've been back for 20 years and still find it strange to wear shoes every day.
Since returning, I have chosen to follow a spiritual path to lessen dependence and definition on material phenomena in order to expand the warm heart. God was good and sent this economic nightmare on us. Becareful what you pray for.
I pay my own way.
After many years, I now realize I know only a little. The challenge is always to love enough. It is for me a little like that lyric from the song Send In The Clowns, "Isn't it strange to lose our timing this late in our career."
But I seem to be comfortable with life and generally have a cheerful expectancy about what is to come. Probably because I suspect I will meet you.
And you'll be what you are, I hope.
Follow your bliss.
