Meet single man from Fremont, United States. I love my job. I work in a hospital clinical lab doing tests and things to either diagnose or follow treatment of the patients we see. I have been so employed for nearly 40 years. This says certain things about me. I wish to do good things for humanity. I am a generous, kind, and caring guy. I derive pleasure from helping others.
I want to find a woman who is kind, caring, and loving to spend my remaining years with. I am very interested in various fields of science, particularly those that deal with who we (humans) are and how did we manage to come to live where we do? (Paleoanthropology) I like to keep 'up to date' on the expanding information about dinosaurs. My mom got me a book 'All About Dinosaurs' when I was 8 or 10 and I was 'hooked'! I was a zoology major in college, as it was the closest to a premed major. I didn't go to medical school as my grades weren't quite good enough and I was drafted- Viet Nam and all. I acquired my profession in the Navy and managed not to go over seas!
I am a quiet, somewhat introverted person who is not at all materialistic. I don't need a lot and I don't want a lot. I am beginning to explore my spiritual self some and I go to Yoga 4 to 5 times a week, but I am not a 'nut'! It has gotten rid of most of my aches and pains, strengthened my body, and greatly improved my flexibility.
Other than reading I enjoy talking to people and sharing ideas. With my co-workers I often share some of the medical issues that I recently read.
As a avocation I teach a class at Cal State East Bay. I enjoy dining out. I like Italian, Mexican, and many other types of food. I don't much care for fast food as I am not usually that much in a hurry! I like movies that are good character 'profiles' have something interesting to say, or are historical. I don't care for violence for the sake of violence!
I am usually laid back and easy going and I don't need or wish to be 'waited on' by a woman. I want a COMPANION!
