Date a girl from Sunnyvale, United States. Not sure how to start this, but here it goes...I like to look on the bright side of life, and will forever see the glass as half-full. I love to surround myself with other optimistic people as I find that pessimistic, sarcastic, and/or cynical people leave me feeling drained. Sure, I have bad days like anyone else, but I try to bounce back from them as quickly as I can. I am a combination of sensitive and strong, which allows me to enjoy all the good experiences in life. And the bad experiences? They only make me stronger! I am a very resilient, well-rounded and determined person.
My enthusiasm and passion for life are readily apparent, and contagious. IРІР‚в„ўm not much of an extreme sport or adrenaline junkie, as I have fun in other ways. I enjoy a combination of exciting activities (e.g. hiking, going to a Giants game with friends, going dancing, etc) and relaxing/restorative activities (e.g. cuddling, watching a movie, reading a book, etc). Sometimes after a long week at work I will sleep in late on Saturday, make a fun breakfast, go on a vigorous 2-3 hour hike, come back home and take a relaxing bath, then take a nap, and then when I wake up feeling revitalized I want to socialize and laugh, so IРІР‚в„ўll rent a funny movie, go dancing with friends, or something else along those lines. Speaking of dancing, IРІР‚в„ўm starting salsa lessons next week, and I couldnРІР‚в„ўt be more excited. After salsa I want to learn tango and rumba. A love of dance runs very strongly in my family, and I think it would be really difficult for me to be with a guy who doesnРІР‚в„ўt enjoy dancing. IРІР‚в„ўm a very passionate and romantic person, so I would love to be able to dance with my guy. I am very observant and sensitive to the senses, so I really appreciate things like restaurants with romantic lighting, beautiful sunsets, soft textures, pleasing aromas, and delicious flavors. On that note, a few months ago I went wine tasting in Napa for the first time. I enjoyed it so much that I have decided I want to go at least once every year. Beautifully aged wine, gorgeous views of Napa, and castles!? Yes please! I also love downtown Carmel because it has cute little boutiques and art exhibits, romantic cafes, and stunning sunsets on the beach. I love and admire these things as is, but to be able to enjoy them with a special guy would be the icing on the cake.
Although I am generally talkative and outgoing, I have my shy moments. I tend to have more shy moments when I am first getting to know someone, and I can take a little time to warm up, so patience is key. My friends would describe me as happy, witty, outgoing, genuine, intellectual, and loving. I would love to have a life that involves getting dressed up and going to a fancy ball or opera, and then another day having a picnic in the park or going on a canoe ride. I enjoy the fancy, bold aspects of life, but it would be meaningless if one couldnРІР‚в„ўt also appreciate the little things in life. ItРІР‚в„ўs all about balance. Due to my inquisitive nature, I would love to travel, sight-see, and explore. I havenРІР‚в„ўt had much opportunity to travel during my adult years, but it is something that I look forward to doing more of.
As far as what I’m looking for in that special guy? I’m not sure how to describe what I’m looking for, but I’ll know it when I see it. I would like a guy who is supportive and loving, makes sound decisions, knows where his career and life are going, who is a skilled communicator, and hopefully who is romantic and loves to dance. I don’t want to restrict myself to a certain type, but those are some of the main qualities I’m looking for. I’m very intellectual but also very romantic and silly. Although I would love to meet someone I can have intellectual conversations with, its just as important—or maybe even more important—that we can laugh together and be romantic with each other. I spend enough time in my head due to work and hobbies. It would be nice to spend more time in my heart
