Now I’m back in Long Beach where I’m closer to my family and childhood friends. However, I do miss San Luis Obispo sometimes, and try to visit when I can. I have a younger sister and brother and we are pretty close. Even though I’m on my own now, we always make sure to get together here and there.
I believe in the “work hard, play harder” mentality. I want to fulfill and enjoy my life to the max, so I feel it’s important to always put my all in everything I do.
During the workweek, I work hard as a Mechanical Engineer in a small engineering firm in Carson where I met awesome coworkers who I now consider friends. One of the things we do at least once a month is get together for kickball. It takes me back to those fun elementary school days. It’s still a lot of fun now in our twenties.
Play harder consists of all sorts of random activities. I love riding through the canyons with my buddies. Twisties are the best part. I can tell you what those are… or I can show you. I also like to golf on different courses throughout southern California, line dance at Cowboy Country, go to concerts, watch movies, eat different kinds of foods, relax at home, fix up the house… the list goes on and on.
