Date single boy from Burlingame, United States. I'm cool, calm, collected and confident. Please read my profile, it's the least you can do. Anyone up for a SHARKS game?
I'm a nice guy who has an edge. I know what I want in life and I'm working towards my career goals. Take a chance and get to know me...I don't bite, hard. ;) I just want someone who makes me happy and likes to have fun and enjoy my company. Most of the time you can find me at giants games or a lake near by.
People say I'm funny but I do know when to be serious and be real with people. I'm a leader and a follower, I know how to have a good time and make things fun for everyone.
So take a chance...what's the worst that can happen? We become friends? That's not such a bad thing.
Meet a guy from Burlingame, United States. I'll save a narrative for a time I'm not communicating through text. Until then, here are some facts about me:
Life achievements: bowling backwards and picking up a spare, running a five-minute mile, passing the first round qualification for Jeopardy, meeting my best friend in 1st grade and still hanging with him at age 26, and falling out of a plane at 13,000 feet above sea level.
Future goals: be my own boss, fight the good fight, hike Mt. Whitney, find the moving rocks in Death Valley, play the guitar well enough to impress somebody, and live long enough to judge others fairly.
I'm the oldest of three siblings. I didn't used to believe that meant anything, other than I rode shotgun on family road trips, but now I hope that I can give my brother and sister the best advice I have. I don't think I'm old enough to give them proper wisdom, so advice will have to do.
My career is one of the most important things in my life. If I choose to work at something for 8 hours a day for 5 days a week, I better be as damn good at it as I can.
During the week, I'm a homebody. The weekend is time to get out and adventure. I'm not a party person, but happy hour is a good time. I grew up in the country, so I'm in the process of making up for the 18 years I lived in a place that lacked culture: museums, zoos, films (good ones and bad), urban exploration, that sort of thing. I'm currently searching for the best elevator/view in the Bay Area (leads or recommendations are welcome). That said, living in the country taught me that one of the best skills a person could have is making their own fun.
I'm a reader. The best way to slow me down is to place a newsstand or used bookstore between my destination and I. I would like to claim that I read the finest literature, but that would be a lie.
I think life is a gradual disillusionment, and you begin to see past the hustlers and their schemes as you get older. However, I'm still incredibly vulnerable to advertising. I will buy something because it has a cool logo. I don't drink wine, but I will if it has a picture of a fire-breathing bear on the bottle.
Hyperbole is one of my favorite playthings. Case in point: I recently explained to a coworker that Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits are humanity's best, greatest, and most pure achievement. Said coworker disagreed, so I informed them that they probably had no soul, and to consult a priest, monk, or other holy person as needed. This resulted in an informal complaint being filed against me. I hope to elevate it to a formal one, so that an HR clerk somewhere has to open a file under "C" for "Cheddar Biscuits."
Who I'm looking for:
A beautiful woman is good, but a clever woman is better and harder to find. Do you have an interesting story? I'd like to hear it. If it makes me laugh, hey, that's way cooler. I dig a woman who is a little sarcastic. Also, a woman who has at least one geeky obsession they probably wouldn't mention the first time they meet somebody. If you're that woman, then drop me a line!
Date someone special from Burlingame, United States. I am a very loving, caring, and down-to-earth person; I love spending time with friends and family. I enjoy watching movies, reading, wine tasting, hiking, yoga, and zumba. In my free time I also like to paint. I also never tire of going to art museums. Communication is very important to me, and something that I highly value in a relationship. Look forward to hearing from you!
Meet people from Burlingame, United States. I'm looking for a partner in adventure. I love being outside and trying out all kinds of new and exciting things. Hiking, biking, boating, sitting in a park, laying on a beach, relaxing on the deck, you name it. I've recently discovered surfing and after not freezing to death, being eaten by a shark, or drowning I've discovered it's pretty awesome.
My latest adventure brought me from Boston to here in sunny California very recently. I know next to nothing about the Bay area, so you can impress me with all your local knowledge and great places to go.
Date single girl from Burlingame, United States. Who am I? Let's see... I am constantly curious, always artistic, painfully introspective, and learning to live. I've finally gotten to the point in my life where my childhood isn't a curse, but a blessing. I grew up moving around a lot, small towns, islands, and boats. Heels were painful to wear until I reached my twenties, and I still prefer boots. I was taught to figure it out and fix it myself, so I'm not afraid to dig in and get dirty.
I went to school for Fashion Design, a decision that I wonder about to this day. I work in a cubicle, far far away from the fashion industry, but I'm challenged every day and I'm damn good at my job. In my spare time, I go to a lot of shows, am learning how to play violin, working on a blog I just started, and eating a lot of chocolate chip cookies while watching an unnatural amount of Buffy reruns.
I can sew, cook, paint, draw, play piano, make any piece of clothing from scratch, tie a bowline knot, shoot a gun, ride a motorcycle, and dance hula, ballet, jazz, and tap in circles around you. I'm always looking for my next challenge and something new to learn. I am extremely laid back, very sarcastic, and never afraid to laugh at myself or others! :) I have a huge love for bluegrass, americana, country, and rock.
Meet men and women from Burlingame, United States. I am a pretty shell but still a turtle. I love anyone who can inspire me to try new things and make me laugh. I love artistic and intelligent minds. I have been told I have an old soul, but when the time comes I can party too. I am intrigued to meet more people, and perhaps a spark will happen, who knows?
I been in the bay area for about 9 years, I moved from Alaska. I still feel like I barely know this area, I love it though.
I am not really into the "swag" thing, or those who think "dammmmmmn" is a compliment. I would like to think I dont judge every book by its cover, but I do prefer the book to not be for children either.
Attractiveness, personality, humor and depth, is that too much to ask?
Date a girl from United States. Hello :)
Here are a few lines to help you get an idea of the girl behind the smile:
My family and friends are very important to me. I have a big, fun family and we enjoy spending time together.
I am a loyal and trustworthy person and a good listener.
I'm really outgoing and easy to talk to, I make friends with almost everyone I meet.
I am responsible and cautious but I still know how to have fun :)
I really respect peoples' time and am a punctual person, if you tell me to be ready by 7, I'll most likely be good to go by 6:50!
I love to cook. I even considered going to culinary school but decided to follow my other passion and got my degree in Kinesiology.
I'm really active and like to do something different almost every day to stay healthy; sports, hiking, yoga, running, pumping iron ;)
I love dressing up and wearing makeup and being all girly but at the same time I can rough it with mother nature, no problem! Like they said "a little dirt don't hurt."
I take pride in being a good person to everyone around me, whether a stranger or a friend.
I like to surround myself with positivity and love and would do anything for the people in my life.
There's more good stuff to know about me but i'll leave that to be found out when we hang out :)
