I went to school in Michigan for 4 years and then spent a year at art school in Manhattan. I drove from NY to San Diego, via Seattle, when I moved out here. I hate trying to talk about myself in these things. I'm terrible with first impressions. Seriously. Terrible. Loyalty, honesty, a love of travel, a slightly warped sense of humor, and an appreciation of cheesy movies all go a long way with me.

I figure that at the least, I might make some new friends through this whole online thing; and that would still be great. Meet someone special from United States. I'm originally from Chicago and after college have been on the move quite bit because of my career in the military, so meeting people has been kinda tough. I spent several years in Washington DC before moving to Fort Drum in 2009. These days I'm pretty simple in what I do and what I enjoy. I enjoy my hobbies, and I can also be pretty nerdy at times and enjoy working on technology stuff. Don't go around wearing kicker boots and a buckle the size of a watermelon...but proudly claim my home. So I'm stationed here on Camp Pendleton and live out in Oceanside and I am loving it. The beach is 5 miles away, San Diego is right around the corner, and L.A. is 45 min North...what more could ya ask for right?
As for what I'm looking for, I would like to meet someone who is confident about themselves, their past, their looks, their everyday view on life. Please don't bring a troubled past on the table and use it for sympathy. I can work on almost any issue that comes to me, but don't expect someone to take care of your mistakes ya know? We are all responsible for our actions in life and I will do my everything to help, but be respectful of that offer.
