Date a soulmate from United States. How would I describe myself and my ideal match? Well, I am pretty easy going, even under pressure. I have a good sense of humor and enjoy people for who they are. I am a professional writer, artist and photographer, and own a business in the healthcare field. I have three grown children, and two grandchildren. I am more casual than formal. I am a romantic at heart. I have no desire to travel internationally anymore, but enjoy trips in the Western USA.
My ideal match would share some similar interests, but not be a female clone of me. She would know what she wants, be romantic, and attractive inside and out. She would seek my advice as needed, but not be clingy. She would have a good sense of humor. I don't want someone who plays head games. I would like someone who looks great in bluejeans as well as a little black dress.
Meet single man from United States. I consider myself a relatively sophisticated person with an interesting background thanks to opportunities life has afforded me. I have a very good sense of humor (or so I am told), varied interests and a kind heart.
Am curious about things, life, people, places and want to enjoy new adventures as much as possible.
I am looking for someone with the ability to share and appreciate all the good things that life has to offer and has the ability to face adversity with aplomb when things are not perfect.
Low maintenance, small carry on baggage persons will be upgraded to first.......please be at peace with your ex(es), children, siblings, parents, banker, butcher and cable guy......
As part of the full disclosure thing........please note that I tend to be conservative in my political views.....a rarity probably in the bay area (I know).....so please be OK with that since it is something that will not change.....
Date someone special from United States. Honest, open, caring, supportive, loving and monogamist I only need and want one woman in my life. With the kids all grown and out of the house (or at least thought they were, the youngest and family since moving back from Hawaii are staying with me at the moment) with their own families now, so it's dad's turn to find a new partner in life. I enjoy the great outdoors, camping, boating, etc. Friends have described me as a large Teddy Bear. I'm sensitive, creative, hard-working I'm looking for a woman who is interested in a long term relationship, someone to grow old with, some would say a sole mate, I just want a partner to share life with, the good as well as the bad.
It would help if you liked Motorcycles, I have one and enjoy riding it often.

Meet men and women from United States. I enjoy music, dancing, eating out, movies, theater, comedy and dance clubs, but anxious to add new things to the list. Got some ideas? I'd love to find the right person to stay young with, to be good friends for a long time and possibly to love and to care for. Definitely not afraid of commitments, just careful as I'm sure you are.
Date a soulmate from Redwood City, United States. When you meet me you’ll find an honest, loyal, compassionate, athletic, regular guy. I grew up in Chicago and attended law school at Stanford. After making partner at a large law firm, I abandoned the 60-hour work weeks for a more sane existence at a small firm. I’ve been married once, have no children, and I’m ready to settle down again. I’m attentive, affectionate and, with the right woman, very passionate. I am always up for a good joke or a good time. Favorite activities include weekend getaways (Tahoe, Carmel/Monterey, Napa, Yosemite), bicycling (road and mountain), skiing (usually with the Masters Race Team at Squaw Valley), hiking, attending Stanford football games, exploring new restaurants. I like to travel, and I hope you do too. I would love to travel abroad with a willing partner.
I would like to meet you -- an attractive, fit, active woman with a kind heart. I seek an enduring connection – one that is formed not merely from shared interests, mutual attraction and chemistry, but from how our hearts beat together. I’m a very sensual person, comfortable in my own skin, and want someone who is the same. What else? A sense of humor is great – someone who enjoys the lighter side of life but isn’t afraid of the serious. It goes without saying that I’m curious about your interests and hobbies, and would look forward to sharing them with you. Well, that’s probably enough for now… I look forward to hearing from you.
Meet single man from Redwood City, United States. I’m looking for a partner in a shared dream.
To live close to nature and give back as we take.
To live a healthy and active life.
To love one another, our families, friends, and the world around us.
I count my blessings every day. I’ve done my work and know who I am:
• An artist, craftsman, and entrepreneur who has a good balance of head, hands, and heart.
• The father of an organic farmer and environmental biologist who are as much teachers to me as I have been to them.
• A nurturing, communicative, open-minded man who is a life-long learner.
• A passionate, intuitive, sensual and Tantric partner/friend.
• A 58-year-old non-smoking, Caucasian, Jewish man, 6’ tall, height weight proportional, bald and bearded with a distinctive nose.
I have been able to live many of my dreams and yet feel the best is to come. I’m hoping that my future holds a receptive, self-confident, authentic, passionate woman with compatible values, experiences, chemistry, and philosophies of life.
Date a soulmate from United States. A man of diversity who is now bi-coastal. A place in CA and another in Greensboro, NC. Where I live depends on the project(s) I'm running.
My work in International Management Consulting takes me around the world so I mix vacations with work.
"Beemerguru" comes from my hobby of restoring vintage beemers and bimmers so yes, I can turn a wrench. For the house, I can hang dry wall, paint, and hammer. Bikes, tennis, golf, exploring, movies, the SF Symphony, sailing, reading, and traveling are my passion as you can tell from my pictures. My interest include walking all over SF, a ride up Highway 1 for the beauty and serenity, picnic up in the Sierras, hit a tennis ball, chase a golf ball, go for an occasional sail in the Bay, lunch outside near the water. It's not all about motorcycles ;-).
I'm looking for a friend, lover co-conspirator, and life partner.
I enjoy conversations about current events, business, some politics, and life. I like and encourage touching, walking, seeing sights, exploring, passionate embraces, hot tubs and hot springs, good food, a nice wine or scotch, reading, and relaxing. Still tear up at the original "Affair to Remember", after reading "Lord of the Rings".
Physically at this age, everything still works well! I don't have a six pack anymore but don't have a keg either..all the usual sports in college gave this Scorpio a good physical foundation for later. Still shoot hoops and hit a tennis ball.
A night at Barnes and Noble reading, the SF Symphony, or at a play is wonderful. So is falling asleep on the beach listening to the waves or waiting in the middle of the night to see the last shooting star. I like your picture of you and your lovable dog...but I grew up with animals and know this just means the guy must get through a protective or possessive pet to be with the owner.
Trying new things is a priority but so is improving on what you do now. While I grew up dating an Arthur Murray instructor, it's not something I want to do every weekend. There's too many other activities to try. Can you turn a wrench, sail, golf, play croquet (just kidding), horse shoes, ride a horse, sit on the couch and hold hands, or make the first move if you're in the mood? I still want to raft down the Colorado and dive in Belize. I can operate a microwave and a menu so I can appreciate a good cook - but please be someone who respects my efforts to lose that last 20 lbs. Eat less, exercise more is good..I'm trying!
I try to maintain a positive attitude so please don't have a couple drinks and unload about the last boyfriend/lover/husband/match.com guy who decided he didn't want a committed relationship and suddenly wanted out - he might have left you devastated and fearful of trying again but please....that was then, this is now. Yes it hurt but please be ready to move on. Different feller this time. Park the bags in the closet and lock the door until it's right for you to try again.
I'm constantly amazed by a woman's reactions to that all too rare instance when there is a MUTUAL instant chemistry..not just physically, but emotionally and intellectual....like a well fitting glove. 99.9% of the time it's an instant runaway!!,,,runaway...this can't be happening at this age..but it can. I still believe in love at first sight.
I'm not big on many emails and winks from China, Russia, Maine, Canada, Brazil, or places more than 50 miles from San Francisco. Unless you're paying the plane ticket for the first dinner date, I'm not going. It's a nice thought and I do appreciate it but isn't there someone local to meet for coffee? Males are visual critters...which means no picture on Match, no reply to your winks or email. Just one of those lessons learned I guess.
Never married but a series of LTR - 5, 7, and 10 yrs. Either I was ready they weren't or they were ready and I wasn't. A matter of timing like most things in life. So what are you doing for the next 14 years if I follow the trend
Meet men and women from United States. I GUESS YOU COULD DESCRIBE ME AS A HOPELESS AND INCURABLE ROMANTIC WHO STILL
BELIEVES IN FAIRY TALE ENDINGS. I ENJOY SPONTANEOUS ROAD TRIPS TO THE WINE COUNTRY MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME AND I LOOK FORWARD TO WELL THOUGHT OUT TRAVEL
PLANS ESPECIALLY CRUISES ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE. A SPECIAL CANDLE LIGHT DINNER
WITH A FIRE PLACE AND A GREAT BOTTLE OF WINE IS ON MY AGENDA OFTEN. I'M JUST AS COMFORTABLE IN A PAIR OF JEANS AT A MOVIE
THEATRE WITH A BAG OF POPCORN. THAT SPECIAL SOMEOME I'M SEARCHING FOR COMPLIMENTS AS WELL AS COMPLETES ME. SHE IS AFFECTIONATE AND LOYAL AND UNDERSTANDS
OUR HAND HOLDING PARTNERSHIP AS WE WALK THROUGH LIFE TOGETHER. I HAVE A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR AND I LOVE TO LAUGH. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE BUT IT'S HARD TO DESCRIBE
YOURSELF AND ALL YOUR ASPIRATIONS IN A FEW SHORT SENTENCES BESIDES A LITTLE LEFT TO MYSTERY IS A GOOD THING.
Date people from United States. Ultimately I want to create a rich, deep, passionate, authentic relationship. I had one once, but The Unfeeling Universe decided it wasn't to last, so here I am, hoping to catch lightning in a bottle a second time. I believe such relationships are built on very solid friendships, so let's find out what we really have in common and follow our hearts from there.
If we're to be a match, you will have a lot of notes to your song, they're sung with passion, and you want a partner who can hear and appreciate them all. You spend time in nature because it calls to you and without it, you're just not quite "right". Extra credit if you spend time in the mountains and own trekking poles. Mucho extra credit if you spend a few nights each year sleeping on the ground.
You like long, deep conversations--you communicate well and you expect the same from me. You want me to know you deeply, you want to know me deeply, and the process of developing that intimacy is rewarding to you. You may keep up with popular culture, but you are drawn to that which has more depth. More extra credit if classical music/ballet takes you to important places. You are curious about the world, are probably a lifelong learner, and want the same in your partner; ideas excite you. You know that "serious" doesn't have to mean "dull".
I'm warm, sensitive, caring, romantic. I'm a good listener, patient, empathic, compassionate. I plumb the depths. I have a somewhat dry but ever-present sense of humor. Whether it matches yours or not...well, we'll have to meet in person to find out. What I choose to do, I do with passion and enthusiasm. Apparently I can become interested in just about anything, especially if it is something that's important to my partner.
I've always stayed in shape. I used to be a competitive swimmer, then was a serious runner/marathoner for a decade or so.
These days my primary form of exercise is hiking in the hills (with longer trips in the Sierra), but I'm open to other possibilities.
As serious as all this sounds, I'm actually quite fun-loving and playful. Don't quite know how to convey that in writing, but if we meet and click, that side of me will soon surface.
Meet someone special from United States. I read books, which may sound odd, as common as it once was. I don't much care for crowded places, rather prefer the somewhat wild and open. I do well in the realm of ideas and spend some of my time reading about my main life interest, Earth Sciences. I like to hike, camp, go on road trips and get a feel for the American West.
