Date a soulmate from Redwood City, United States. I'm looking for that special lady (between the ages of 50 and 60) for a LTR and more, who is active, sensitive and confident. While I will agree that "Chemistry" is a very powerful phenomenon, I believe that it can be a bit overrated… Don’t get me wrong - I am still a sucker for a pretty face and attracted to an active and healthy lifestyle; however, at this point in my life, I am also inclined to look seriously into a person's overall character. Integrity to me is paramount. Keeping an agreement (promise) is tops on my list.
To be brutally honest, some additional considerations to ensure successful long-lasting relationships might be: financial stability; flexibility to re-locate (if appropriate); willingness to accept differing cultures; is religious or political compatibility important? What about family values; extended family – are children involved (not necessarily a problem for me). There are certainly many more similar factors to be evaluated -- but - it seems to me (based on past experiences) that these issues are not often initially contemplated and/or discussed.
Consequently, without all of the appropriate ingredients, the initial “spark” may not necessarily ignite and create the roaring fire for which we all yearn. Just some things to think about…
Here is my pitch –
1) All but one of my photos were taken within the past year – many will say that they look much younger than their actual age. You’ll have to judge for yourself
2) I actually participate in all of these activities: snow and water skiing, sailing, golfing, hiking, fishing, rollerblading and am particularly attracted to any activity on or near water; however, I am not fanatical about any of it. Being able to enjoy some of these activities with a willing partner, would certainly add to the quality of life for the both of us.
3) I am blessed with exceptionally good health –I've spent only one day in my life as a hospital patient
4) I have never (yes, never) taken a prescription drug in my entire life, with the exception of an occasional antibiotic, or pain reliever
5) Fitness and sound nutrition are my absolute passions (I have a fitness trainer certification that I obtained mainly for the interest and experience)
6) I am a proud member of a very talented Community Chorus
7) I Continue to enjoy a very successful career
8) I am reasonably financially secure
9) I believe that I possess a fair amount of humorous wit that could cause you to chuckle now and then
10) Tastefully applied PDA is completely appropriate (essentially, I am a “hopeless romantic” – smile!)
11) As trite as it may sound - family is extremely important to me
12) I have no serious baggage of which I am aware
13) I am open-minded, adaptable, generous, and a good cook. I give my all to all that I do
14) I am not interested in serial dating and am definitely not a player.
15) I am looking to find the other half of my soul
