Date someone special from California, United States. When you get a horse it takes a little time to build a bond. It's a constant commitment. You feed him and care for his well being, get to know each others personalities, build trust, give affection and lots of love. You go on many rides. When that horse throws you off, you wonder, "What the heck! Did I do something wrong?" But you forgive and get back on and go for another ride. Then he throws you off, again. You think " I love this horse, I want to trust him and I've put so much time into him." So you go for another ride. Then after about the 40th time of being thrown off, you're pretty scraped and bruised up. Do you give up riding? No way!!! You get another horse!
The parable above is not to compare a man to a horse, but to give you an idea of where I'm at right now. I'm very willing to try again. But will take my time and be picky. I will not play a game nor play the field. I have been a bit of a home body, but hopefully that will change. I am looking for someone fun and kinda silly, who can make me laugh. I am not a high maintenance women (except for the animals). And I don't need fancy vacations or expensive gifts. What I do need is honesty and plenty of affection, which I will give back two fold. I prefer to wear jeans, t-shirts and my cowboy boots, but I can sexy it up, too.

They're incredible kids, and we have a very tight relationship. It's at their encouragement I am here writing this profile. I'm pretty self-confident, and definitely not the jealous type, so if you're looking for the kind of woman that is the swooning maiden, I'm probably not your girl. I absolutely love weekend trips, day drives, walking the beach or checking out antique stores. A good baseball game or a relaxing 9 holes is a great way to spend time off. While I love to experience restaurants of all kinds, I really miss having someone to cook with, enjoying a glass of wine and good music. My friends and family are incredibly important to me, and I'm blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. I've traveled much of the county (courtesy of the military) and done some pretty exciting things. I have about 300 flight hours in a little aerobatic plane, and I'm a second degree black belt in Taekwondo. I'm a pretty easy going person, and not much can get me down. I love my life and would not want to change to much about it. It would be nice to have that special person to love. Other wise I'm pretty happy. Humor is very important to me and I love someone who is quick with a smile and can make me laugh. No Donny Downers please! I chose to be happy and believe their is always a bright side to be seen in every challenge. It's how we chose to deal with it that makes the difference in the out-come.
Personally, I enjoy many activities...Hiking, snowshoeing, traveling, playing cards, cooking for my friends, entertaining, movies, etc...etc... but, first and foremost are my passion, my horses. I currently have two, Cash a Rocky Mountain and Chica a Mustang. I enjoy horse camping, trail riding in the mountains or at the ocean. Competitive Trail Riding, Team Penning and Extreme Cowboy Competitions. You don't have to be into horses, just be understanding of my love for them.
