Recently, I came across a profile that piqued my interest. I crafted an email to her, and I was very happy to receive a reply. She wrote that I was cute and funny...and that she had a friend with a child (not that there's anything wrong with that) she'd like to introduce me to. I politely declined, but seriously???
Oh, well. So, here I am with my sense of humor intact...
I have a career that I love, and fortunately, I don't work to just pay the bills. I'd like to see more of our world; sadly my passport still looks brand new. One of my goals is to attend all four major tennis tournaments. I've been to Paris for the French Open and New York for the U.S. Open. Now I need to check off Wimbledon in London and the Australian Open in Melbourne. Tennis, anyone?
To avoid the gym, I play in a couple of softball leagues. I also enjoy snow skiing, bicycling and ping-pong. For fun, I try to catch my favorite bands when they come to town (The Airborne Toxic Event, U2, Depeche Mode). I'm looking forward to seeing Norah Jones and Madonna this year. Can you tell that I'm a product of the 80s? Another one of my favorite things to do is partake in Restaurant Week. I love trying new places and different cuisines, since admittedly I don't do much cooking. I've tried, but finding basmati rice and fish stock for Gordon Ramsay's salmon kedgeree recipe was not easy. And have you priced saffron lately???
