Date a soulmate from California, United States. I seem to have spent my life being the "go to" person. I am very stable, not particularly well organized, but very happy. I don't sweat the small stuff, and that has gotten me through a lot of rough spots. I raised four children and ran my own restaurant coffee house. Still don't know how I did it. Two of my daughters are lawyers, the other an MD. My son is a computer engineer.
One of my professors told me once that you should always follow your passion. That is what I am trying to do now. I got my MA in art but gave up painting to raise my family. I am trying to pick up where I left off.I paint as much as I can and I have my work in a gallery in Carmel Valley.
My life is very full and I don't have time to be bored. I am very excited by this time in my life. There are so many possibilities. I belong to several discussion groups, but it would be nice to have someone with whom I can really talk.
I have traveled a lot and lived in Europe. Living in another country is the best travel experience. Now I can enjoy visiting friends in other parts of the world.
I am looking for someone who enjoys trying new things, who appreciates how much we have, and mostly who has a sense of humor. I love to laugh. What is more fun than a little private joke? He does not have to like my paintings, but I would like him to be interested in the arts.
