Date single man from California, United States. I came to the East Coast for graduate school, and really miss the warm weather of California. I lead a busy life as a graduate student, but miss having that someone special to spend time with. People who initially meet me may take me as stuck-up, aloof, or at least reserved. This is more because I'm somewhat of an introvert. Once you get to know me though, you'll realize that I'm a big clown who loves to laugh and joke around.
My life so far has been full of interesting experiences. As an example, as a young boy I spent a number of years as a Cambodian refugee before coming to America. This experience has made me value family, working hard, and be resilient when faced with tough times. I am driven by achieving goals, and making the most out of my time on earth. But I only need enough money to survive, and have some sense of security. I am also driven with the desire to help people, as a way to give back to all those who helped me along the way.
I have definitely explored a lot of the U.S., and would love a chance to travel outside the country more. I am always open to new experiences and learning. I must honestly say that I don't know what I'm looking for in a partner. I've come to realize that attraction is a lot about chemistry, but I am willing to take the time to get to know you. At this point, I am looking for someone who shares similar interests, is open-minded, loves trying out various kinds of food, and is willing to continually explore and learn with me.

First off, I’ love watching (NCAA/MLB/NFL) and playing sports! I played basketball in college and sports all my life, but don’t let that fool you. I enjoy going to see art exhibits, live theater, and discovering what the Bay has to offer.
I love 80’s music/movies and was a proud member of the member’s only jacket club; again don’t’ hold that against me.
As Far as hobbies I enjoy playing my guitar, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. I work hard and enjoy spending quality time with my daughters. Although I try to stay busy I am still left with that void in my life that could only be filled with the girl of my dreams. Most recently, my newest hobby has been Salsa dancing! I've been going to class 2-3 times a week and loving every minute of it.

Meet single man from United States. I'd like to say that I'm looking for the perfect woman, but realistically, I'm looking for the right woman. One who is simple, funny, comfortable, healthy, and has great values. I've been accused of being funny, creative, too nice, and most important, loyal (to a fault sometimes).
I've been lucky enough to travel all over the world (personally and on business). I've learned to appreciate all cultures and what they have to offer. I've learned not to expect anything in life and to be thankful for what you have. I learned this the hard way.... I definitely hope to see kids in my future, and most importantly, a nurturing and caring mother to care for them.
Finally, do the following things make me weird?
-I've hiked/climbed Yosemite's Half Dome and hiked up Mission Peak more times than I can count, yet I hate hiking.
-I watch a ton of cooking shows (Top Chef, Iron Chef, Chopped, etc.), yet I barely have time to cook.
-I'm a very sociable person, yet I prefer doing things alone some times (running/working out)?
-I have a lot of movies, but I never watch them?
-I'm a very practical person, yet I end up doing a lot of impractical things.
-I have a ton of shoes/clothes, yet I tend to wear only a small portion of them.
Finally, if you play golf and snowboard/ski...I'm already yours....
