Date someone special from United States. I've read so many terrific profiles I think I need to put better effort into this, but for now...this will have to suffice. Why am I hear? I'd say I am at a point in my life where I am perfectly set for a new beginning. Yikes...how cliche. Yuck...even more cliche...is this the proverbial mid life crisis??? No Way!!! But it is true. The child is out of the house, finances are good, job is good, health is good (knock on wood), I've made a few changes that have stuck. So, let's see what is on the horizon. Time for new hobbies, new friends, new adventures.
To be candid, my desire for a relationship ebbs and flows based upon many things from hormone levesl to memories of the past to dreams of the future. Ahh...but in the moment, in each moment, I can imagine, the right person, would be terrific regardless the emotional influence. Yes, to find that person without risking anything less. Of course.
I usually play tennis Friday and Sunday mornings, jog at Avila Saturday morning, sometimes do stand up paddleboarding at Avila. I love golf but haven't played in almost a year (since all my golf buds retired and moved away). I practice Tai Chi regularly but it is much more of a private, spiritual practice than a social thing. Some day soon I plan to start teaching it again.
I travel often for work and try to extend my business trips to include a vacation of some sort.
I don't care to "just go out there and wiggle" dance but when I lived in Texas, I learned to love a nice two-step, waltz, and yes, even a polka. I'd like to take a ballroom dance class but my schedule seems to conflict with available classes.

For fun, I enjoy playing tennis, riding my mountain bike, taking drives in my sports car, walks along the beach, movies, typical stuff. strangely enough, I also enjoy decorating my house. My kids are adults, ages 19 and 21. They both attend Cuesta College and are artists. The Indian drawing is an example of my son's work. I saw the original that he copied in charcoal. It had a fraction of the detail that my son captured. The expression, texture of the hair, amazing. He's pursuing a career in architecture. My daughter wants to become an interior designer.
I'd like to meet someone to enjoy with me all the wonderful things that the Central Coast has to offer. I believe patience is a virtue, so taking it slow is good, but finding someone to grow old with is my ultimate goal.
