Date someone special from California, United States. Hello, I recently relocated to California from North Carolina. I enjoy meeting new and interesting people. I am looking to meet someone whom could show or tell me about the cool sites in the Bay Area. California is beautiful, but it would be nicer to have someone to explore it with. I like to stay in shape and work out whenever I have the time. Being outdoors is a passion of mine. just Family is important to me because they have always been in my corner through good and bad times. When I am not working, I like to attend concerts, comedy events and movies. personal.
I would like to meet a woman that enjoys staying in shape eating healthy like myself. Someone who is family-oriented. Basically, I am looking for that special someone whom I consider my best friend. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. If my profile seems interesting drop me a line.
Meet single man from California, United States. Ok, let’s get started. I am fairly new to Northern California having moved here last December. Prior to that I had lived in Newport Beach, California for nearly 4 years. Originally from Boston, MA and I still have my accent which I have tried to drop time and time again.
I would describe myself as confident but not overly. I tend to care what people think of me because I believe being the best I can be. I want people who come across me to think and say "what a cool guy". It is not about attention as it is about the importance of one’s own honor and respect for those around them.
I like to take weekend trips to who knows where. Being from the east coast I travel back there quite often. But, I have been doing a lot of travelling in California.
Who am I looking for? This is a tough call only because on line profiles can be deceiving. In the past, most relationships started with a simple conversation either in the gym, parking lot, work etc. I would like to meet someone who is honest, confident, serious about her ambitions and unselfish. Sorry ladies but these are traits not often found all in one women. I believe she is out there and so shall we take a chance and meet?
Thought to share a famous quote: "love is the irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired"
Hope to chat with you soon.
Date a soulmate from California, United States. Me…
Bullet for my Valentine, Drowning Pool, Sick Puppies, Burn Halo, Rise Against, Digital Summer, I will listen to top 40 and even country. I HATE rap. NCIS, CSI, Hawaii 5-0, Burn Notice, James Bond, Iron Man, Avengers, GI Joe, Riddick, Mission Impossible, The “Bourne” series.
Ruth’s Chris, Cheesecake Factory, BJ’s……Brewery, Sushi, Starbucks (not a coffee drinker though).
Riding mountain bikes (down is better than up but you have to earn the ride), rock climbing (outdoor is better than indoor but I do both), hiking (stuff that takes all day and ends in places you cannot drive to), would love to learn to skydive and surf.
I don’t mind being lazy once in a while and watching a movie marathon but would prefer to be outside doing…almost anything.
Ideal weekend/vacation. A few days at a hotel on the beach. Love the water and being in the sun. Or rent a cabin in Tahoe and take the bikes up to Heavenly for some downhill. Also LOVE Las Vegas. Not a big gambler but just love being there. One day at Blue Mountain for some hiking/rock climbing and the next relaxing by the pool.
PS, Chivalry is not dead, just forgotten by most people. I am a hopeless romantic. If you don't want to be treated like a lady, I'm not your guy.
Meet a man from California, United States. Ive been in the bay area for a couple months now, and although I still have boxes to unpack I am starting to get settled in. Ive found the shortest drive into work, and a shortcut or two I can use on those extra-busy mornings. Ive also learned how to navigate BART and the bridge toll plazas. The new job required a couple more suits in my closet and the new apartment needed some new furniture. Im really starting to enjoy the beach, too.
I like to think Im not very complicated. But they say were the sum of our past experiences. Since my life isnt a simple story, maybe Im more complicated than I realize. I grew up on a ranch in the middle of nowhere - I was horseback riding before I could walk. My parents will celebrate their 50th anniversary later this year and I was the first kid from either side of my family to graduate from college. I spent 15 years in Colorado where I fell in love with the mountains. (have you ever seen a Saint Bernard running through snow drifts?) The last couple years I tried to adjust to the heat of a Texas summer before finding my way to the west coast. Ive been told over and over that Im a keeper but that I just havent found that special someone to share my life with. Since I bought a ticket to the big lottery jackpot, I must still be an optimist at heart. (or just really bad at math!) In the meantime Ive focused on my career and reaching many of the goals I have.
So maybe you can help me discover San Francisco and all the hidden gems the bay area has to offer. If the chemistry is right and things click, we can write our own adventures...
Date someone special from Dublin, United States. I am an active guy. I have a lot of different interests, and playing sports is probably the main one. I have my own business and work hard at helping people the best I can. I am happy to have wonderful friends and family around me. I am very outgoing, social and friendly. I get along with just about everyone.
I believe in supporting my partner in whatever she does. Her interests would become my passions. I would love to feel that support from her as well. I am looking for someone active as well, as people with active lifestyles tend to understand each other.
I am looking for someone who takes good care of themselves, as I do. Both mental and physical fitness are important to me. Someone who can make me laugh, and who laughs at my corny jokes as well. Someone who would love to travel and explore just about every inch of the world.
Honesty, trust and being open in a relationship are important to me.
Anything else you would like to know? Please feel free to ask.
Meet single man from Dublin, United States. Me.
-I've got a wicked funny sense of humor and a quick wit. Nothing better than hours spent telling/hearing funny stories with a group of friends or strangers.
-Even though I'd consider myself unconventional in many ways, I take career seriously. I've got drive and focus.
-Staying healthy (diet and exercise) is key. I run about 30 miles a week, a couple marathons per year, and think fit = sexy, for me and for you.
-I am a music junkie. I moved here a few years back via Chicago (catch the Wilco reference?) where, in my 20's, I managed record stores for years. I still can't get enough new/indie music and live shows. I also can't shake my diehard love for the Blackhawks and Cubbies. (SF is great, but it's got nuthin' on Wrigleyville in the summer.)
(-As far as the career, I have moved on to slightly more serious pursuits. Plus, record stores went extinct if you didn't hear.)
-I'm intelligent, and attracted to intelligence. I read/view a lot to stay informed on world/national events, and don't understand people who are happily oblivious.
-I have great relationships with my family and a core group of life-long friends; I put energy into maintaining that.
-I do have a tendency to swear like a sailor. I can filter it when needed, but by default, my tongue is pretty salty.
-Ideal Saturday = a game of euchre with three friends, bloodys all around, and some Al Green records in the background. Nice!
-I had this thing for pinball in my youth. For some reason, in the 90's, I road-tripped w/ buddies to truck stops in all of the lower 48 to play pinball and see the country. I still can't walk past one in a bar without dropping a few quarters.
-Atheism is not a religion, but I do sometimes get preachy about it.
And that's plenty about me. You?
-I guess that, first of all, you read the above, and this sounds like somebody interesting. That's a good start.
-In terms of what you bring to the table, I enjoy people with a very wide variety of passions, pursuits and interests.
-However, I think if you are NOT some of the following things, we'd stand a better chance of hitting it off...
You're not a frequent couch potato.
You're not particularly materialistic. Stability, comfort, lifestyle are important, but you're not greedy or focused on possessions by any stretch.
You don't complain, or at least not too often, and never about the little stuff. You're not morose.
-It would be a bonus if you had a charismatic personality, a sense of adventure, and a robust sense of humor.
Over and out.
Date a man from California, United States. Meet someone special from California, United States. One of the most flattering comments I receive is that I’m naturally funny. There’s nothing better than making people smile and laugh.
I always keep my ear to the ground for new and exciting music. If I don’t have an upcoming show to go see, then I try and find others who enjoy playing as well. I’ve spent much of my life dabbling in singing and strumming any number of guitars (and most recently, contemplating picking up some piano skills).
Do you enjoy wine with your music? Me Too! I’ve recently discovered the various wineries and wine tasting venues. Not only have I learned how to botch words in multiple languages while tasting grape juice, I also found a passion for a fruit that has an incredible depth and history all its own.
What does a musical wino do for a living? I’ve found myself on a firm yet enjoyable career path. I hold a position as a manager in graphic design and sign services. The opportunity has afforded me the chance to travel and work in various cities. I work a lot, but I’m doing work that I enjoy in that I’m constantly gaining new insight and knowledge from.
I’m looking for someone to complement what I already have. I’m happy where I am. Good friends, great family, fulfilling job, lots of interests and hobbies. I'm looking for someone to share them with. Someone I can play my favorite songs to, take to my favorite restaurants, bring to a concert or show, enjoy a bottle of wine with. Can you teach me something I may not know anything about? Let’s go mini golfing, apple picking, cuddle up for a movie, head to the carnival.
Maybe we’ll have a drink and a couple of laughs. Perhaps we’ll change the world by discovering a new way to make pancakes. Yes, breakfast items can change the world. I do love breakfast. At all times of the day. And there I go rambling….
Date a soulmate from United States. I have a free trip via my company to HI, so need to find someone interested to accompany me...
Me: very athletic, and love to be outdoors. Movies are fun either in or at the movies. Love the beach, pretty much a 'sun' guy. Professional worker who works hard and lives for the weekends. Love to golf and not a planner.
I love dark eyes, but not a deal breaker if they aren't... i like confidence, but not overboard. Looking for a gal who can wake-up, put on some sweats and Uggs and still look hot, without even trying! Just someone who can be themselves, and not vain. Love lingerie, and if you wear high boots then we need to chat! LOL :)
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. I'm an outgoing and very social person. My friends and family say that I'm funny. Actually, I'm pretty funny. I love sports and my career. Trying to find a good balance is sometimes difficult. With work, it gets difficult to meet that special lady. So here I am online...
Date a soulmate from United States. im happy, fun, loving, hard working.im in good shape, i work out.my deal match is somebody who treats me nice.ands happy.loves to be huged.and kissed go out for dinner and quit evenning at home get to know me and have fun
Meet someone special from California, United States. Let me first say that I am definitely new here and somewhat skeptical about this online dating thing. I am checking it out and giving it the benefit of my doubt to see what might happen. I lead a pretty busy life, but know how to make room when needed for people, but it can be tough at times to actually meet new people.
I am often told that I am a true and wonderful friend. I will do just about anything for a friend and am always there when needed. I can be a little intense at times and maybe even talk too much. I have been told I am very honest, loyal, thoughtful, direct, open, honest, giving, caring, a true gentleman and amazingly respectful. Friends have told people that at times my first impression can be a bit tough, but once you get past that I truly am an amazing and wonderful person and will be your best friend!
I am a very active person with lots of energy and passion. Most people do not believe I am really 44 and to be honest I sometimes (most of the time) forget myself...I have been told I am in my 40's but going into the 30's. I am very adventurous, spontaneous and there is not much I won't do or try. During the summer you will probably find me on a boat on the water Wake boarding, waterskiing, barefooting and in the winter Snow boarding and riding dirt bikes! I work hard and play harder! I am very dedicated with everything I do including with people. I am a type A personality for the most part, but I definitely know how to relax, enjoy down time, have fun and have a good time. This all might sound like a lot and that I am looking for someone to keep up, but that is really not a deal breaker, but if you can keep up that’s great!
Ultimately I would like to find someone who is independent, has there own life and friends, like and knows how to have fun, not into drama and has a positive attitude. Also having a good connection with someone as well as chemistry is very important.
