Date a man from United States. I am an emotionally, mentally, physically and financially secure man, who enjoys my life very much. I would like to meet someone who is in tune with her own feelings. I am not a big believer in "live today because tomorrow may never come"
because I believe there are many tomorrows in our future! And have planned and prepared for a very long life.I have many interests, love to cook and have a passion for my garden. My family and friends are very important to me. But I am missing the last piece to my puzzle, "someone to share my life with" So lets leave baggage and drama in our pasts and start enjoying our future! Lets travel, there are so many places to visit!!! Lets enjoy the simple pleasures in life Hope to hear from you
Meet people from United States. I'm looking for a best friend who is equally content in sitting at home or going out on an adventure.
I hate arguing over things that in the end of the day, don't really matter. I tend to defuse tension with some old fashion humility and self-deprecation. I rather laugh (especially if the situation is serious), maybe get a bit goofy or loopy and keep everybody's blood pressure low. I try to look at potential good things that may occur when things go wrong.
Compassion and understanding for all living things is my way of life. Trust and honesty is important to me as I've been trusting to a fault in the past.
I like to travel, so you should be willing to experience new things, new places and new food. I've been literally around the world five times and lived in Ireland, Singapore and Thailand (though sometimes in a hotel). Also I like going to Hawaii at least once a year. For business, I have to travel at least couple times to the Far East, usually Singapore, China and perhaps South Korea. If you have problems with, realize that you would always be welcomed to travel with me though I do have to work during the workweek.
I also have a neat, cool and intelligent 12 yo daughter who is currently living with her mother in Ireland. So I will have to occasionally travel to Ireland to see my daughter or escort her to the states for her summer stays with me for the next couple years. I'm not jealous of my partner's attention to her children and I would expect the same from my partner.
My favorite current outdoor activities is car camping in Lee Vining near Mono Lake (since I love the mountains), just east of Yosemite. There, I like taking my Jeep over some off-road trails (nothing too technical or scary) in the High Sierras, and just getting away from the grind and experiencing the open-air at higher elevations. Getting a gourmet dinner at Whoa Nellie Deli in Lee Vining is a special treat. Also I've been getting into geo-caching as a way to burn up a day or two in the outdoors.
I like going to Hawaii at least once a year for snorkeling, touring and just kicking back. I would like to visit the Louvre and Paris again, this time for at least a week. Thinking about a trip to Bali in October. An occasional Winnebago warrior adventure or road trip at least once every couple years is a good road trip.
The ideal friend can function as both pilot and co-pilot/navigator as need arise. Skills in map reading and dead-reckoning is desired but no longer necessary (GPS). Still must enjoy getting slightly lost at times and not panic over simple stuff that happens.
Oh ... my divorce is hopefully coming this July! Can't wait to change my martial status since I've been separated for over 3 years.
