I am an independent thinker, an open book communicator, fiercely loyal, always honest, high integrity, do what I say, say what I mean woman. I am open to exploring the new and different. I was raised by a southern mom, so I have the girlie nesting side to me. I love being all girl. I was also an only child to a dad who wanted a boy - I had my 1st fishing pole at 3, pony at 5, rifle at 6, golf clubs too. I even bait my own hook:)
I love horses. I am honored to be the two-legged for Pearli, my working cow horse, Shadow, my Morgan trail horse and Maverick, a wild mustang rescued from the BLM horrors. I show Pearli as a working cow horse, camp n trailride with Shadow and Maverick all over California (as far away as Monument Valley this past May), and we're all jumping these days! I also live with Diego the Wonder Dog who is my constant companion.
I started skiing at 40 and by 45 I was skiing anything at Squaw - including the Peak and Palisades. Passion DOES fuel learning! I love anything around the water...2nd best to being on a horse:) Im a dive master and paddle my kayak Sky. And I want to learn to surf! I enjoy any kind of music (except rap), play the piano and love to sing. I golfed to a 12 handicap til about 10 years ago, but haven't hit a ball since. So much to do, so little time.
I've spent a lot of time going strong in business and traveling (Ran a biz in Europe from CA for 3 years, what was I thinking?) plus traveling all over the world for sport - Himalayas, Greenland, Costa Rica, Galapagos, Islands everywhere- if there was diving, skiing, climbing, trekking or flying - I've been there. I am so blessed!
Which is probably why these days one of my fave things to do is stay home with loved ones and chat about life n the pursuit with a great glass of wine, yummy morsels and music to match the mood. But I'm happy to be out and about ...simply depends on the day and the time...and the company.
I love to laugh and one of my biggest pleasures in life is helping others to laugh, too. Mostly at me, myself and I. And my kids. Laughter is such a great gift - we should all do it more often!
I have a super life - I am blessed beyond my wildest dreams. I'm happy. Only thing to add is the right guy to share life's magic, enjoying the flow with laughs and smiles and sharing - as true partners in this lovely amazing journey.
