Date single man from California, United States. That I ended up in the wine business is no surprise. I am often asked how I learned about wine(while teaching a wine basics class last night, in fact) and I say, "by osmosis." After working in fine dining restaurants as long as I have, one will absorb a few things.
So, aside from work, I am interested in finding new things; restaurants, books, exotic islands, plays, or that wonderful cask of amontillado. It seems to help if the one I am with is, at least, partly like minded. I have dated women from 5' tall to 6' 3". At 5' 6" myself I find that weird, but if there is a connection who am I to argue.

I refuse to put on a show for anyone, and firmly believe in the old saying 'what you see is what you get'. That's certainly the case with me. Those who know me best would say that encompasses being honest, giving, trustworthy and energetic; I'd add to that confidence and clarity.
I am very easy to get along with, averse to drama and about as non-demanding as someone can be. I enjoy spending time surrounded by those I love, but also need time just for myself. I doubt that would change once I find that special someone. I have one son at home until he finishes school later this year.
I live a life that I find very balanced, filled with work, family, friends and hobbies.
