I know myself to be genuine, caring and giving. I believe I am good at communication and feel it is so important to be true to yourself first and it is so much easier to be true to others. I love to play golf, hike (not Kilimanjaro), ride bicycles for fun (beach, through town, mountains), love spending time at the beach when possible and I like to cook, grill etc... I am not a cigar aficionado but I like to enjoy a good cigar while playing golf. Don't smoke around my daughter at all, only the golf course.
I am looking for someone to mesh with and not waste a lot of time with drama and ulterior agendas. I believe that attraction comes in many forms, not just from a physical sense but from within as well.
I have a beautiful 8 year old daughter. My co-parent is mostly level headed (little to none, drama!)
I know that you need to peel an onion one layer at a time but how many tears between the layers are there? Life is an incredible gift we have and I have in the past taken it for granted so I am hopeful to find someone to share the gift with.

Meet people from United States. Introspection….born and raised in the �burbs of San Francisco, I was blessed with parents who actually stayed together, right up to the end, deeply in love. We should all be so lucky, and so it goes and so it goes…..they made it look so effortless.
Never content with the norm, I’ve made it a bit of a quest to live outside the box. Looking back, it’s been a charmed life – lived in a park in a redwood forest for six years, my nearest neighbor a mile away…worked as a carpenter in parks for fourteen, was a wildland fire fighter too (Notes: the “hero” stuff really IS kinda fun and the Smokey Bear costume is a big, furry, HOT sweatsuit).
“Retired” by a back injury in ’97, the forest was a tough act to follow, so I simply traded it for another forest, moving to a small town in the Sierras. It was good run, “working” as a general contractor allowed me to pursue more important things like skiing all winter and summer days at the river….
…. so it was fun, but after a few years of earning just enough to pay the bills, and with work running dry in Tuolumne County, I landed my current job, building cancer clinics all over the country, which is how I ended up here in Oceanside. I’ve traded the forest for the beach, where you’ll likely find me when I have free time. I love it, but it would be a lot more fun with some company!
Speaking of free time, I have more than I bargained for this summer – we’re between projects and it is sooo nice having an extended vacation….
I’m good natured, smart, articulate, attentive, courteous, a bit of a romantic, try to play well with others, and will make you laugh….I shoot straight…no games, and am old enough to have thinned out my baggage to a 1 quart zip lock in my carry-on. Oh, and dogs. I love dogs.

At this stage in my life, I'm somewhat set in my ways, but I am not afraid of challenges or taking risks. So, I'd like to point out a couple of things...
My tolerance level may be a bit low, as I do not deal well someone who is an egoist, a lier, or someone who chooses never to compromise.
Love kids, but I am not the one to be your disciplining half.
I love to laugh, hang out with friends enjoying time together; and staying happy. So that being said, I'm certainly not seeking someone to MAKE me happy, but someone to be a part of it!
I enjoy my work, and I work for the weekends. Just say when, and in a moments time, I can look hot and be ready with a simple handbag and ready to go! On the other hand, I also enjoy kicking back somestimes and absorbing the atmosphere of quiet time together. Intimate relationships are great when you know what you want and how the other half takes it. It's not hard to figure out... just don't leave any marks. ;-) I've even been called the "girl next door", and often wonder why it's not always as good the second time around (if you need help with this, I'm not sure what to tell ya).

I work for myself and the closest description of my work would be "Life Coach," but I don't like that word. I've been in business for myself for 30 some odd years, and I enjoy the independence. I am also a fine artist (painter) and I exhibit and sell my work.
My daughter is an adult and I have very little baggage. I'm hoping to find someone similar.
I like sports but do not really like sitting in front of the TV watching them. I would probably go to a boxing match or martial arts tournament before I'd go to a baseball game. My musical taste is ecclectic. Classical, hard rock, some rap, R and B, jazz, ambient, good country, alternative. I have my favorites in almost any catagory. I play ambient music as my "default" soundtrack on a daily basis, when working in my home office, because it is peaceful.
