My career—which I love and doesn’t feel like work—is a major part of who I am. I’m in the business of caring and making a difference in the lives of adults and children. It’s more rewarding than my former career as an underwear model. One of the coolest things I get to do is perform music, create and design the best-looking environments, establish relationships, take on new challenges and continue learning and growing.
I love having the flexibility of being in administration and teaching. I love switching & need breaks. Loving and enjoying what I do, the quality of life and the impact my work makes is more important to me. Some of the things I really love to do as coordinator is run a top college prep program, train and mentor other coordinators and teachers at different sites. As a teacher it’s an honor to inspire students and I love getting lost in the art of teaching different subjects, electives and grade levels. I do all these things proudly in a suit and tie everyday.
I get the entire summer off to spend extra time for exercise, running, creativity (art, power tools, drums, song-writing, etc). Productivity and leisure are very important to me. I’m happy going almost anywhere outside to hike, which will have a break for sliced mangos, strawberries, watermelon, or simply just eat out, chill out and goof around. I enjoy an outing with friends or a guest on Friday nights and cozy breakfast spots on weekends. Flourless chocolate cake rocks!! I work hard, so a nice drive, or all the shows, shops, local galleries, hangouts and even putting on a suit for a fine restaurant, or places that treat you like kings and queens sound great.
I’ve also given many, many years to care for at-risk kids outside of my worksite, but I always make time for quality relationships and personal goals.

I come from the most loving parents and a family with a legacy of public service in the local, state and international level. I am proud of my history and the lessons learned from my legendary parents and grandparents who showed me the capacity to endure hardships, value social justice and work, take charge of life’s unpredictability and always have faith. I’m also a very proud uncle to my beautiful, gifted, athletic and musical nieces and nephew.
